PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING1 Introduction In present situation, health and well-being have become a very serious concern as compared to other challengesfaced by the common individual.Due to globalization, the numbers of industries have increased in size and as a result of this; these industries are negatively impacting our ecosystem in terms of health (Haslam et al., 2009). It has been found that nearly 12 countries in Europe and Central Asia are facing the negative impact of climate change which has resulted in a lot of deaths. In current time people feels that it is better to invest in health security in order to protect themselves from various threats arising in this global world. According to the study, it has been found that even European region is also facing issues related to health in terms of ageing and growing of population. In addition to this unemployment among youths, poverty and working environment which is full of pressure and stress are actually contributing a lot towards health and wellbeing risks (Diener and Chan, 2011). Health influences wellbeing and wellbeing itself influences health As per world health organization, health is defined as the state of comprehensive physical, psychological and social wellbeing and not simply the absenteeism of disease or illness. While in traditional medical believe health was considered as the state of body which is free from any kind of disease or illness and focus on the significance of medical diagnosis and involvements. In addition to this, WHO has connected health unequivocally with wellbeing aspect to achieve resources which are linked with social and physical body state (Grinde and Patil, 2009). Wellbeing is defined as the positive state relatively than a natural state. Wellbeing is also framed as a positive health aspiration. In 1986, Ottawa charter stated that health must be seen as everyday resources of life instead of aim of living. Wellbeing can be associated with the link among health along with the level of society involvement. But in reality, it is unrealistic because there are numerous numbers of factors which result in damaging health. Wellbeing is usually present in two dimensions, one is subjective and other is objective. Wellbeing mainly involves experience related to life along with beliefs and social ethics associated with life which makes a balance between personal and professional life (Huppert, 2009). Usually, wellbeing is considered as part of health and is been connected to the psychological stability of the individual.
PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING2 Relationship between health and wellbeing As per various study, it has been seen that many scholars do not find any difference between health and wellbeing but still there are some scholars who believe that wellbeing is more comprehensive than health concept. Various researches indicated that both these terms consist of multidimensional and hence they generally impact each time to time (Carmody and Baer, 2008). It can be said that a person can be called healthy even if that person is ill because these people are continuously engaged into exercises activities along with spiritual endeavors but at the same time its complete opposite situation can be possible. In a similar manner, an individual can be said wellbeing despite suffering from disease. There are many examples where patients who are being treated for chronic disease are fully capable to live a productive life. Health and wellbeing It is always better to identify the factors which may lead to motivation in the patient in terms of emotions and strength and are linked to health and wellbeing. Asymptomatic patients or customers wellbeing is very difficult to find out because they are not highly engaged to healthy behavior in order to improve their health while it works in motivating to enhance their wellness. Physical as well as mental health has the power of influencing wellbeing in both short term as well as long term situations (Steptoe, Deaton and Stone, 2015). It can be said that there are plenty of correlations among health and wellbeing results, enhance the immune system, tolerance related to higher pain, very slow progress in disease and so on. But when it comes to wellbeing, it has a variable impact on the health which depends on the related factor. Holistic approach Health WellbeingIllness Diseases
PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING3 As the target population in the United Kingdom, it can be easily said that a holistic approach will play a very important role in up maintain the healthy lifestyle of the common UK individuals. Even though United Kingdom is considered among the top developed countries in the world but still there is inequality in the UK population related to income, status, and even education. According to study almost 23.5% of Britain population is living under the influence of poverty and are in continuous need of health support (Eurostat, 2015). A holistic approach is actually a traditional medicine in which the human body is seen as a garden instead of a machine. Just like garden needs care in a similar way human body also needs care because its every system is being influenced by another working system. Just like our body impacts our minds in the same way our mind impacts our body (Dooris, 2009). So, it clearly indicates that health and wellbeing cannot work in isolation and are always in need of help while considering individual aspects in term of applied and workable approach. With the help of Holistic approach, it will be easy to maintain the correlation between emotional, physical, spiritual, occupational and social aspects of human body. In the emotional aspect, holistic approach will help this weaker section of the society to become aware of their emotions, learn from their mistakes by accepting their fault along with accepting the assistance in a situation of need (Royen et al., 2010). In physical aspect, a holistic approach will help in encouraging this weaker section to adopt physical activities in their daily life and consumed proper nutrition along withwell-balanced diet. Holistic approach will also help in maintaining spiritual wellness in context of ethical and believes. Being healthy and wellbeing is not a very easy task; it requires a lot of efforts, especially when it is under the continuous influence of various factors which impact in both ways positively as well as negatively. These factors are mainly social, traditional, economic and physical environment under which almost even human sustain their whole life. As per various researches, it has been seen that genetics and personal behavior displays a strong impact on the health of the common individual in terms of working, learning and playing. From researches, it has been determined that the family history of an individual plays a very important in signifying the impact of genes related to individual disease risk (Koslander, da Silva and Roxberg, 2009). An individual usually faces the same genomic environment which is faced by their family members from long duration so naturally, they will automatically develop the same

Hence, inherited hereditary difference within family evidently contributes indirect as well as indirect on the manner of developing disease. While human behavior also plays a significant role in centering health and preclusion of disease. As per the study, it has been found that various effective programs which are being used to change the health behavior of an individual need a multilayered tactic to assist an individual to adopt changes and introduce it in their behavior (Kingsley et al., 2013). Introducing a healthy eating behavior in early childhood will help in preventing the individual from many diseases but at the same time, this behaviour changes as the individual move to an upper stage of the life and hence it is very difficult to maintain for a long time. Relevant theories and influence According toBarsevich andMontgomery, various researches indicate that knowledge attained has a direct relation with health and wellbeing of an individual. In addition, it has been seen that personalized genetic data helps in reducing risk related to health pattern. It has also found that information related to genetic influences the behaviour change with the help of genotype-tailored intervention. It actually offers a promise that holds initial prevention of common health situations (McBride et al., 2010). As compared to biomarkers like blood pressure and cholesterol checking, genetic markers are considered more influencer on the individual in Britain. Britain has considered as one of the old traditional family following culture and hence health and wellbeing of the individual are truly under the influence of genetic formation. Alcohol consumption and smoking is very common behaviour in Britain culture which is directly connected with the health issue. According to the study, it has been found that around 14.5 deaths per 100,000 population are being experienced by Britain from 2015 (ONS, 2015). This kind of behaviour is being displayed by both the gender of Britain population men as well as women. While in case of Alcohol, men percentage is very high as compared to women which are forcing them to enter into danger zone situation. Hence these populations of Britain are under great influence of these genetic and personal behaviour aspects of an individual but at the same time, economic state of a family In Britain also influence health and wellbeing of an individual both in positive as well as negative way. As per various researches, it has been said that around one-third population of Britain are living under poverty line and therefore are continuously subjected to health-related
PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING5 issue (Gifford and Nilsson, 2014). It is a true fact that in poor economic condition, even a strong person is not able to maintain its strength for a long time because individual is under continuous stress of making money and paying debts. This stress is impacting an individual in both ways physically as well as mentally because of which the person is not able to give proper care to their health and are not even able to offer a healthy home environment to their children. A research was conducted in US in 2017 which indicated that financial stress is directly linked with the physical health of the person. Around 34% of US population is feeling a negative impact on their health due to financial stress which has given rise to other family issues like divorce, social cutoff and borrowing (APA, 2015). In fact, this pattern also very common in Britain and even the young generation of Britain are also experiencing this kind of situation in their life which is actually impacting their health and wellbeing. Another factor which displays influence on health and wellbeing of Britain population is social environment. An individual is always considered as the most important part of the society and there is always an interconnection between individual and society as well as between individual and individual. The society offers both types of platform positive as well as negative impact (Gleichgerrcht and Decety, 2013). If an individual is living in a society which is full of positivity then most probably a positive health display will be automatically reflected in behaviour of the individual. In a similar manner, if society offers a negative platform especially those zones of Britain which are not developed yet will display negative behaviour towards life. Conclusion Dueto globalization, everycountryof the world ison thedynamicmode intermsof development and progress especially when it comes to Britain. Britain is considered as one of the developed countries in the world but at the same time development should not be considered as a benchmark for financial stability. There are around 23.5% of the population which are still falling under the poverty line and hence are struggling for health and wellbeing. Although Britain government has introduced many free health programs it is not possible to cover each and every individual of the population. In addition, there are various factors which are directly or indirectly impacting the health and wellbeing of the common Britain individual. Moreover, British government has introduced a free food coupon by which this particular section will get a basic living and eating thing free but it is in lottery form and so it is not possible to cover each
PROMOTING HEALTH AND WELLBEING6 individual. Hence, it is very important for all the British community, especially that community which falls in this 23.5% of the British population to ensure a safe and healthy environment. Many social health of Britain and NGO are extending their support in terms of reforms and offering free health tips to these sections to keep them fit in this dynamic change environment.
