Abstract: Four concepts of community health promotion strategies have been stated
in the concept model (Fig 1). This study talks about the fact that community health problems
are associated with different types of associations. These are mainly social, economic,
biomedical and cultural associations. Intervention strategies are used in order to tackle the
harmful effects of these associations. This research study is based on the concept map stated
above which aims at preventing the condition of vitamin D deficiency in children. The
methodology uses several concepts for the implementations of various plans for the
improvement of community health standards throughout the world.
` Introduction: Vitamin D deficiency in children has been a major issue in the
Canadian community. This deficiency leads to occurance of bone weakness among children.
Community health has been deteriorating day by day due to environmental conditions.
Mortality rates for people had increased to a far extent that that was earlier. On an
introductory note, it can be stated that community health is a vast area inside the field of
medical science. This study consists of protection, maintenance, and improvement of public
health. Four concepts will be selected concerning the above-stated concept map. In-depth
discussion for the connection of these four concepts will be provided in the following
paragraphs. The community concerned here is the Ontario community of Canada.
Aims and objectives: The main aim of this scholarly study is to provide the readers
with different concepts of community health promotion strategies (Ontario, Canada).
The objectives include the need for these strategies and the reason for the use of these
strategies.

Methodology: The major study under which these four concepts are grouped is the
study of health. The first concept under health study is the biomedical concept (Jha et
al., 2018). The main objective of this concept is to promote the absence of disease in human
communities. This goal can be reached by implementing several nursing intervention
strategies. Primary and secondary interventions are grouped into this concept. According to
the primary intervention strategies, remedies to prevent the occurrences of a particular
disease are to be checked (American Diabetes Association, 2016). Chronic disease can be
selected here for discussion, gastrointestinal disorders. These disorders include every disorder
that is related to the lower part of the body. The liver, pancreas, and intestines are mainly
affected areas. The primary interventions for the elimination of this disease will be to
vaccinate people with hepatitis vaccines and to ensure proper nutrition for people.
Malnutrition will lead to the destruction of the stomach and intestinal wall linings and give
rise to gastrointestinal disorders. A few parts of the Ontario community of Canada has been
found to suffer from chronic diseases (Van Bogaert & Clarke, 2018). This concept model will
help them in preventing the occurrence of the diseased condition. Bone weakness diseases
such as brittle bones and osteoporosis occurs due to vitamin D deficiency in children. Other
chronic diseases can be prevented by ensuring proper immunization of the community and
providing people with quality foods. Secondary intervention includes a fast detection of any
disease at an early stage (Prince, Bryce, & Ferri, 2018). Liver cirrhosis, one of the most
important gastrointestinal disorders, needs detection at an early stage. Otherwise, the cirrhosis
can gradually progress to cancer. The pathophysiology of this disease involves the scarring of
the liver due to the accumulation of ascitic fluid. Detections can be done by the proper
diagnosis of the disease at an early stage. Ultrasonography and endoscopy of the person's
liver provide a detailed condition of the organ concerned. Therefore, it can be stated that this
