Topic: to assess the impact of online stores on street retailers in UK retail sector. A study on
Massimo Dutti.
INTRODUCTION
Online shopping is getting famous nowadays that is why company is getting more online
sales over offline. Massimo Dutti is the clothing brand. It manufactures clothes for male and
female. This proposal will shed light on challenges for offline sales and techniques used while
doing research.
Aims:
The aim behind current study is to ascertain the impact of online stores on street retailers in UK
on Massimo Dutti.
Objectives:
To understand concept of online stores.
To identify connection between online shopping and decrease in street sales.
Research questions:
What is the concept of online stores ?
Why online shopping has decrease street sales.
Literature review:
Concept of online stores
Muresan and Sinuraya, (2018) said online stores means when customer purchase products
using website or online portal. Online sales is connected with social media. They make purchase
by just seeing the product.
Connection between online shopping and decrease in street sales
NGUYEN and KHOA, (2019) stated online shopping is growing so consumers are
avoiding going at physical stores. Consumers are trusting on online shopping.
