Introduction
In most instances, mindfulness has been utilized to relate to the psychological state of
awareness, the practices that promote individual consciousness, the model used in processing
data, and the character trait. Mindfulness always increases the personal perception of what they
are going through. It also allows individuals to have the space to make decisions on how they
need to proceed in their day to day operations (Dekeyser, Raes, Leijssen, Leysen, & Dewulf,
2020). It is simple to depict how improving such capabilities in the services of individuals might
lead to better results in their actions and relations. Mindfulness have positive effects on
interpersonal relationships as it stands out to be the state of an individual mind in that
concentrate on experience in the present moment in a non-judgmental manner (Moll, Frolic, &
Key, 2015). The mindfulness has always been linked with the development of interpersonal
relationships both in traditional and Buddhism, and in Western therapies. Therefore, this
literature review essay examines how mindfulness is good for interpersonal relationships.
Mindfulness is Good for Interpersonal Relationships
Interpersonal relationships of an individual with peers, coworkers, ad society, in general,
are influenced by several issues. In any interpersonal exchange, cases of early party results
unique set of expectations, qualities, along with interaction style. Mindfulness is considered to be
suitable for interpersonal relationship as it results in the development of natural, effortlessly, as
well as harmoniously in different cases (Aguirre, 2018). Therefore, mindfulness is good for
interpersonal relationships among individuals as it can help in tracing several social problems.
Mindfulness has been essential in the development of useful plans for solving issues of
interpersonal relationships within places of work. It helps in the process of training the public to

interpersonal conflict, along with constructing efficient campaign for public health (Skoranski,
Coatsworth, & Lunkenheimer, 2019). Therefore, mindfulness is always considered to be how
individuals can be capable to understand their opinions. It help individuals to stay attached to
their views without being casualty to unsuitable intense reactions concentrated on issues that
have been unresolved in their past. Besides, mindfulness presents the most significant device for
facing the daily challenges of staying close to different partners in operations.
Reducing Rumination and Stress
Several researchers, such as Iida & Shapiro (2018), have shown that mindfulness is good
for interpersonal relations as it reduces cases of rumination. The practice of mindfulness among
individuals often helps in reducing cases of stress among relationships of individuals. Individuals
that can participate in instances of mindfulness meditation retreat are often signified higher self-
reported mindfulness as well as decreased cases of adverse effects compared to individuals that
are not involved in mindfulness meditation retreat. Additionally, Osgood, McNally, & Talerico
(2017) recorded that mindfulness meditation always shifts ability of people to use regulation
strategies in the manner that allows individuals to experience emotion collectively and that the
feelings they experience might be processed diversely within the brain. Mindfulness helps in
cultivating the ability to present individuals with the ability to relate well with others in society.
In most cases, mindfulness can also assist an individual in developing a detailed level of
appreciation that has all types of excellent benefits of psychological wellbeing. Moreover, the
exercise of mindfulness gives an individual the needed techniques to act suitably in different
