Group discussion
This will help the team leaders of each team to know about the different ways in which they will
be able to solve the team conflicts. As the other members of the team are from different social
and economic backgrounds they will surely be facing some of the issues in their thinking
patterns and their mindsets as well. Therefore an emotionally intelligent leader will be needed to
make sure that he is able to solve these conflicts and make sure that he is acting as the problem
solve and also the solid communicator. He is the one who will have to understand the issues and
then make sure that to initiate the process of communication.
Group presentations
This is the most essential part of the workshop as this has helped the different individuals in
understanding the confusions and also the different issues that are a part of any group based work
or activity. Therefore it must be made sure that no one is giving up on the situations and are
trying their level best finding out the solution by putting forward a joint collaborative effort. An
emotional leader is one who will not only be there to get the work done by accomplishing the
long term goals and objectives of the organization but also to make sure that he is there to
support the morale of his employees and also to increase the confidence. This will be able to
make the employees feel that they are valued and are being taken care of. It is the duty of the

leaders to know that they must be able to create a vision for their employees or they must be able
to create a path that their followers will be walking up and making sure that this will be for their

This must be noted that acting as a social communicator is also one of the most useful aspects
that must be taken into consideration. An emotion leader is one who has to work over his or her
communications skill. Communication is the best tool that must be used in order to understand
and also find out the solution of the different conflicts that can arise in the course of the different
group activities. An EI or emotional intelligent leader will always try his or her level best to
focus over the topic of motivation. He is one who will always be trying to focus over the
uplifting and the development of the skills and the talents of his employees by providing them all
the possible support. Thus he will always have to act as a proper example for all his employees
and make sure that he is able to help them at every point of time.
My learning from the Workshop session
Emotional Contagion is one of the most essential topics that I have been able to learn from the
assignment or the workshop. I have been able to learn that as a leader all the actions and the
qualities are getting transformed. In other words in future I will have to keep a very strong check
over the words or the actions that I exhibit. This is because of the fact that just likes much other
disease my actions and my speech will be getting transferred to the followers. It is for this reason
that I will have to make sure that I am able to transfer only the positive and the good influences
rather than transferring any kinds of bad or any kinds of negative influences.
Therefore I will try to work over my weaknesses and make sure that I am being able to make my
strengths even prominent for the sake of my followers. I will always undertake a group

During the group activities or the delivery of the presentations I have seen that I was getting
nervous under pressure, In future I will make sure that I am taking small breaks in between the
work sessions so that my mind is refreshed and I am able to understand things and also react in a
very calm and responsible manner.
