This article discusses the analysis and formulation of quantitative methods in nursing research, specifically focusing on the settings of public sector hospitals in Jordan. The study aims to assess the contribution of independent variables on dependent variables and test hypotheses related to the resistance of healthcare professionals on electronic medical records. The research design involves a cross-sectional quantitative research approach, and the sample consists of doctors and medical healthcare professionals in Jordan. The study measures variables such as computer self-efficacy, perceived complexity, attitude towards electronic medical records, and anxiety. Data analysis methods include regression analysis and correlation studies. The article also discusses the limitations and anticipated problems of using quantitative methods in nursing research.
