Website structure
Each page making up the website is made up of three sections;
 Header section- The header section is the top most section of the website. The header section
consists of the logo of the company and the navigation menu. The navigation menu consists of a
navigation link to each page of the website. The navigation menu is highlighted to show the
page that the user is currently in.
 Content section- The content section of the page contains content specific for that page. For
example for the home page, the content section contains a slider which has images and a
caption for every image. For all pages except the home page, the content section contains of a
sidebar which has two widgets; search widget and filter post widget. The search widget is used
to do a quick search of the posts that have been made on the website. The filter post widget is
used to show the most recent posts where by it shows five of the most recent posts that have
been made.
 Footer section- The footer section of the website consists the copyright information and a link to
the social media website of the company.
Each page making up the website is made up of these three sections but each page has content specific
to that page. The website consists of 5 pages;
 Home page- The home page is the first page that the user sees when they visit the website. The
home page of the website is the landing page and the design adapted for this page is very
appealing with the aim of catching the attention of the visitor. If visitors get a good impression
after opening the website, their curiosity might drive them to check out other pages thus
maintaining the user. This is made possible by use of a slider which consists of images with a
caption to give the user quick information about the website and the company. The home page
also contains the posts where by a post is an ad for a house that is available for sale. Thus for
every post added by the website administrator, a quick link is added on the home page. The
footer section consists of the copyright information as with all the other pages.
