As I have to clean front glass of Holden
which is a car seller company in the
Australia and they are having many
showrooms. So I went to inspection for all
front area covered by glass in Suttons City
Holden & HSV outlet Holden cars which has
to be cleaned and all issues regarding to
cleaning has resolved with management
working here. I found that height and
flooring are two major hazards related to
this because floor is mirror finished and it
has risk of falling on it. Tinted glass has
been used in this showroom and sandy soil
was found on this surface. Air blower,
duster, squeegee, wiper, scrubber and
bucket will be used as equipment. Gentle
washing will be used to clean this surface. I
have measured area which was around 30
feet wider and 15 feet high. So, according to
this, 9 feet height ladder I have used. Some
minor scratches was found in a general
inspection of glass which was shown to the
store manager.

I found that height is the major factor which
can be a risk on my life. So, safety harness is
used in this. The safety harness is link to me
with ladder which can help me to protect
from falling on floor from height. Safety
tape is effective which can help to me show
and indicate that this place is used in
cleaning process. I have installed safety
tape and stands within 7 feet areas of
working. Some glasses are covered with
frames and so, it is essential for me to
remove them by taking permission of

is working as a hinder factor in the

windows are cleaned with water. Squeegee
and wiper are used to wipe out and finally
clean the glass. Edges of windows are
cleaned with micro fibre reg (fibre based
cleaning cloth) to remove dust and soil from
corners. All cleaning work has done
according to need of the company.
