front area covered by glass in Suttons City
Holden & HSV outlet Holden cars which has
to be cleaned and all issues regarding to
cleaning has resolved with management
working here. I found that height and
flooring are two major hazards related to
this because floor is mirror finished and it
has risk of falling on it. Tinted glass has
been used in this showroom and sandy soil
was found on this surface. Air blower,
duster, squeegee, wiper, scrubber and
bucket will be used as equipment. Gentle
washing will be used to clean this surface. I
have measured area which was around 30
feet wider and 15 feet high. So, according to
this, 9 feet height ladder I have used. Some
minor scratches was found in a general
inspection of glass which was shown to the
store manager.
As he made a pre

Squeegee and ammonia based chemical
cleaner is used to clean glass. All equipment
like ladder, cleaning tool, harness and
scrubber helmet are selected according to
the cleaning glass and area. I have adjusted
ladder according to the need of height and
same Squeegee tool is also be adjusted as
per the needs of width. Ammonia based
cleaning solution is made before the
starting of cleaning process.
This cleaning person
has used squeegee tool,
ladder because it is

used in this. The safety harness is link to me
with ladder which can help me to protect
from falling on floor from height. Safety
tape is effective which can help to me show
and indicate that this place is used in
cleaning process. I have installed safety
tape and stands within 7 feet areas of
working. Some glasses are covered with
frames and so, it is essential for me to
remove them by taking permission of
management. Routine work of the company
is working as a hinder factor in the
completion cleaning task.

I have used blower to remove dirt from
glass and then water cleaning is done. After
it, I have placed Ammonia chemical with
scrubber to remove the layer of soil and
dirt. I have found many spots on glass for
which I have used vinegar powder to clean
it perfectly. After the scrub, front glass and
windows are cleaned with water. Squeegee
and wiper are used to wipe out and finally
clean the glass. Edges of windows are
cleaned with micro fibre reg (fibre based
cleaning cloth) to remove dust and soil from
corners. All cleaning work has done

by water. It is because rubber gets affected
by water and it affects on the softness of its.
I have kept all equipment in the tool kit
which can help in traveling. I have stored
