Assess hard floor to be cleaned:

In organisation, there are different types of
floors such as ceramic tiles, brick, slate,
proprietary flooring and many more. In
Bupa, aged care soil type identified is dust,
rainwater and tones. On the basis of these
issues, I recruit people to solve their issues.
There are different types of hazards in care
home which I face such as noise, working in
confined spaces, etc. which have been
assessed and controlled by me and my team
members as the requirements of health and
safety. Some of the cleaning methods are
those according to which the surface such as
air blowing, spray buffing and scrubbing are
used by nurses. Further, equipment is
selected according to job requirement that is
air blowers and water houses. Apart from
this cleaning methods include solvent,
alkaline and neutral cleaners. Protective
clothing and disposable respirators are
selected for PPE and these are used
according to specification of manufacturer.
Besides this, existing damages which are
faced by patients are properly reported to
higher authority in an appropriate manner.
Selection of barricade deals with risk
assessment which involves visibility of hazard
and amount of clearance which are provided
from the hazard by barricade.

Clean hard floor surface:
2.1. Furniture and fittings are removed to
allow cleaning tasks to be performed.
2.2. Hard floor surface is cleaned using
equipment, chemicals and cleaning
techniques according to manufacturer
specifications and legislative, health and
safety, and company requirements.
2.3. Treated area is compared with
surrounding surface to determine need for
further action according to company
requirements.
In Bupa aged care homes, furniture and
fittings are removed and it is allowed by me
in order to clearing the hard floor surface.
Some of the clearing methods are used by
me are alkaline, solvent. Cleaning of floor is a
physio-chemical process which is involving
few number of factors and these are
essential for nurses to clean them on regular
basis. Further, the area which is selected by
me is corridor because from that place so
many people are coming and going and
along with this dust also coming. This area
has been compared with surroundings so
that further actions can be taken by higher
authority. Further action which will take by
higher authority should be according to
requirement of existing plans to resolve the
issues which are facing by employees as well
as patients.

Tidy work site:

Different soils of dust seen by me such as;
rainwater and tones which is observed by
nurse. The waste which is occurring by them
are is collected as per requirement of clients.
These are also done according to legislative
requirements which may include chemical
controls, Australian Standard, certification
requirements and assurance of quality as
well as code of practices. After cleaning the
place, furniture and fittings are replaced at
original place as per requirement of job.
Besides this, signs and barricades have also
been removed by me while complying with
legislative requirements or Australian
Standards which include cleaning in progress
and hazardous chemicals which are present
in the work area where I am working.
In this aspect,

The equipment used by be to make clean
and safety environmental such as air
blowers, water hoses has been used in
adequate manner and these are specified in
manufacturer specification. These
specifications may include data sheet of
material safety and other sources which are
supplied by manufacturer, label of products,
instruction regarding using of equipment’s.
Along with this, the wastage which has been
produced by nurses is also stored in a proper
manner so that it can be utilised again.
Unused chemicals which are not being used
by cleaners to clean the stores are stored at
proper place and these are also maintained
according to the requirements of company.
As it includes I can make performance plans,
in the business with company service
standards, continuous improvement in
quality process and standards and many
more.
In order to
accomplish
effective

many other

performed in
