Reflection on Learning and Development in HWB Module

INTRODUCTION
Reflection is an act of directing own though to concern with our attention a subject and
experience. When it can feel uneasy to formally reflect, the reflection is something individual so
naturally (Christensen, Knezek and Kelley, 2022). Skill with the reflection understanding how an
individual do anything and it is important as individuals re probably already reflecting informally
regularly without even realising this. Therefore, this essay will include how and why I have need
to developed as learners during respective module and reflection on how to approach the future
expectation and challenges of the university course.
MAIN BODY
Throughout this module, I have enjoyed the HWB (health and well-being) module. This
has been good for developing my understanding and knowledge in various area within HWB and
also with certain aspect related to my fragmentary thesis, this has been enable me to make the
connection and hopefully more deepen all my discussions later. Given module has make me
enable to look further into the particulars areas that are of an interest to me and those I did not
have enough confidence when delivering anything within my classroom. During the inputs,
working with the other has enable me to further improve my communciation and listening skill
as well as empathy. Moreover, working in a team or group on a project has made my experience
more enjoyable. The encouragement and motivation we provided to one another was invaluable.
During this module, I feel that I have learnt various issues- seeing various perspective and
encouraging me for developing my thinking.
In this, I have decided to various task in blog/portfolio for different reasons. At first, we
had 5 mandatory ones that had to be finished and thenceforth the other were up to us for making
our own choice regarding which one we were decided to complete. This was a constant process
throughout this module with a majority of the tasks being finished before October (Raju and et.
al., 2022). I have realised that by doing it throughout this module it took some stress away from
achievement of the given project as a whole. Therefore, I have decided to choose to do such
portfolio as a blog on the Glow due to a feeling like I wished to make this more interactive and
effective rather than just the work documents on USB, additionally, I wanted to once again
challenges myself but also want to make a start for building a resources bank and reflection for

my professional and career development in future. Having such online or on Glow means that I
will ever have an access to any information teachers uses this system continuously in practices.
Having an opportunity to experience Glow system make me to feel very sure and
confident in utilising it and also recognise the benefits of that kind of the tool. Although, this tool
give a good experience but it is time consuming & stressful. After finishing every individual
tasks and then having to place this on here and edit this for making blog posts engaging took
longer than earlier I had first anticipated. Therefore, I hope that efforts and time can bee seen
passim.
On reflection of this module, I want to say that this has few negative and positive. Vast
amount of the knowledge, information & resources that has gave collected has been great in
giving me a high confidence to go out & teach all the aspect related to HWB. This has also
inspired me to think about different areas, subjects, topics & issues I have never taken in to the
account due to lacking of the proper opportunities for experiencing them within university.
Additionally, I have feel that it make me enable to bring positive changes in my life.
Nevertheless, uni life does make it slightly challenging at times.
Regrettably, it is a demanding and thesis is also very stringent that has been slenderly
difficulty or challenging to balance. The HWB is a vast curricular part and there are various
things to learn and make in that it is not possible to know everything. But like other assignment
or module, this has been a worrying procedure to ensure quantity & quality (Thomas and Barker,
2022).
I have to admire that completing the given portfolio was a little difficult & I have
consume much time and efforts in order to make it more effective or best it could be. After
completing this portfolio or module as according to me it help to me in coming out from my
comfort zone many times in order to complete assignment and tasks in the lectures. It is
something that I still do not feel totally comfortable with. The digital skill which I have
developed, from creating blogs to editing the videos and uploading the file are going to help me
in my professional and career development.
Overall, I actually enjoyed this module and I just want there had bee some more
opportunities like this through out the university for building such a bank of resources as we
have merely covered a small amount of HWB.

CONCLUSION
From the above essay it is concluded that reflection is very useful process it gives
individual the brain and opportunity for pausing amidst chaos, untangle and sort through
experience and observation. This essay has discussed that how I have learn various thing during
the module and how I enhance my knowledge in HWB. Therefore,, it will be very beneficial for
me to keep learning so that I can perform efficiently in my future career within chosen field.
