1REFLECTION ON COMPETING VALUES LEADERSHIP Self-assessmentisoneofthemostsignificantpartforanalysingtheself- competencies. This will be helpful for identification of the capabilities and help in improving the requisite skills to become a manager (Quinnet al2014). My results for CVF projects a quadrant that is not equal from one of the angle which in this case is the role of the coordinator. However, other quadrants are approximately similar which does gives an insight that it will be liable for the improvement. Being a manager it is one of the major role to be a good coordinator. Though the score is low still it is not significantly that it will be impacting my role for being a manager. The spider web has projected the key strengths and weakness that is associated with my managerial role. My identified strengths are being in a role of a broker for mitigation of the conflicts, along with that role of a mentor and monitoring role are significantly strong in my management style. Being in a manager in a tourism industry strong innovator role will be helpful me for being a good manager. My balanced point in the role of a director and a producer will be a positive impact for managing the resources in an efficient manner. However, weak points such as role of a coordinator can impact the communication which I need to improve along with role of being a facilitator which will be helpful for helping my team members learn new and innovative approach towards a problem. For the result it is one of vital learning for me will be to incorporate a systematic practice for being a facilitator (Berg 2015). Improving the role of coordinator I must follow a memory driven communication model (Pesce and Montana 2019) and achieve the required balance. My skills with role of broker and producer does project my strength in being a leader which will be helpful for being an effective manager.
