Reflection on Physiotherapy

This reflection is about the author's experience in conducting mobility assessment for a patient with hip replacement surgery. The author lacked practical knowledge in conducting the assessment in a systematic manner but was able to build rapport with the patient and seek help from an experienced occupational therapist. The experience helped the author identify their potential and limitations and the need for education and training to enhance the quality of assessment. The reflection is linked to HCPC standards of proficiency and the Code of Ethics.
