Reflection
Reflection is determined as the best way to find out learning developed by individual
from their own past experience in the particular situation. With reference to own case, it can be
said that I have conducted self SWOT analysis during my coursework. By conducting this
framework at myself I was able to determine my own strengths, weaknesses, threat as well as
opportunities. In order to express my whole learning journey , Gibbs reflective model have been
used by to express my own learning as well as development made by conducting SWOT
analysis. This reflective model have been expressed below:
Description: I have conducted SWOT analysis during my coursework. Learning this
framework was the part of learning. This practice have been performed by batch mates.
Feelings: While conducting SWOT analysis in the class was very interesting for me as I
was excited to analyze myself with the usage of this framework I would be able to check out my
own strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. It can be said that feeling were quite mix
up. This is so because in the initial time I was happy I thought I will get opportunity to learn
myself in deeper manner but with the passing when I was actually performing this framework I
was not able to judge whether I am having good access over this skill or not.
Evaluation: On the basis of SWOT analysis conducted by me in the past, It can be said
that my command over myself was seen as the positive part of this analysis. The good command
over this have supported me in developing my knowledge over core strength of mine. But, at the
same time it has been determined by me that I was not able to find out my weak zones. This have
delayed me in conducting this framework. While, evaluating others perspective related to the
same, it can be said that some of my batch mates were facing similar situation like me as they
were not able to determine their core weaknesses as well as threat. On the other hand, it can be
said that left over batch mates of mine were having good command over their weaknesses and
threats. This have supported them in completing same framework in rightful manner.
Conclusion: The overall experience associated with the same was positive as I have
developed my knowledge on myself. Along with this, it can be further said that If I will get
opportunity to conduct this kind f analysis in the near future I will be able to conduct it in more
lucrative manner. With the help of this analysis I have got know that I was weak at
Communication skills and Management skills.
