Executive Summary
The assignment has focused on the different type of core skills in which play important
role in the people. by using the skill, it has easily interacted with other people for sharing
own opinion or view point about particular subject. It has analysed about the own core
skill that applicable for career development and growth. Each and every skill has
different concepts which always supports in different terms to improve knowledge and
also building ability for handle any type of situation. Furthermore, it also determined the

What is the core skill to develop?
Management skill is based on ability that may include different things such as business
planning, delegation, time management (Lohmann and zur Muehlen, 2019). These are
considered as a top activity that performed with the help of management skill.
I mainly focused on the Management skill which is the core skill for developed effectively. I
make mistake along the different ways in organization. in this way, I needed to improve
management skill which increases long term success in the career growth and development.
Why is this core skill important? Why did I select this skill to reflect on? (use relevant
theories and concepts to support your answer)
As per my experience, I found that Management skill is very important in terms of problem
solving so that needs for people to improve their own management skill otherwise it directly
affects on the performance and efficiency (Pambreni and et.al., 2019). In this way, I have
selected the management skill which useful for easily handle business planning in proper
manner. For Example- In effective management skill build confidence and dedication towards
the objectives where manager has performed their specific task with proper manner because
of their management skill. According to management contingency theory, I easily identify the
business factors which influence organizational activities in terms of development and growth.

I analysed that overall competency based on the knowledge and skills of management which
help for improving own abilities towards the business management. In this way, I always try to
do self-evaluation for identifying strength and weakness (Feng and Valero, 2019). I choose
the different medium to assess own competences such as feedback from tutors, self-
assessment finding and examine own feeling, behaviour towards situation. This will help for
me to identify the area where it required for improvement.
As per my experience, I examine the own capabilities where tutors easily understand my own
thoughts, behaviours and feelings towards communication skill. In this way, I easily analyse

my own strength and weakness in context of management skill.

In above analysis, I found the allowable weakness in terms of coordination that may be
required to improve management skill which help for me to develop capabilities. Sometimes,
lack of management skill affecting on the performance and efficiency in job task.
I also analysed that There are different types of toolkits which are reliable in term of
management skill which useful for increasing own performance in task management (Nair,
Kaushik and Dhoot, 2019). It may involve browser tools to keep record information and data
in proper manner. I have used the tool kits which support to identify the proper results and
outcome.

As per experience, I have analysed that management skill play important role in future
development because it helps for developing ability and capability of managing overall
business operations (Okay, Somerville and Scholario, 2019). I acquire all knowledge to
understand the demand of business in terms of development that’s why, as per own view
point, it is becoming important for improving management skill in future growth and
development. I have understood that it also supports to open various type of career related

What is the core skill to develop?
Communication skill is an ability that must use when receiving and giving different kind of
information. It mainly involves speaking, empathising, observing and listening (Mawalim and
et.al., 2019).
My core skill is Communication skill which always providing the support for interacting with
one person to another. communication skill always supports for met to communicate with
other person in both verbal and no-verbal cues. I believed that it helps for exchanging or
sharing important data which require for me to improve own communication skill. After
sometimes, I realised that communication skill needed to develop in own life because it is
very important to develop own confidence level. I always focused on the communication skill
which are core part of my expression that shows through skill to other people.

As per opinion, communication skill is very important in any aspects where it help for me to
build professional career, which useful for gathering social information. I believed that it
heavily applicable on information sharing which are needed to be good communication skill
(House, Livingston and Summers, 2019). I have selected communication skill because it can
perform specific role in my day to day life. For Example- in organization, it significantly helps
for manager to coordinate with staff members for business planning, controlling, organizing
entire enterprise activities. In this way, I concern about to improve communication skill which
help for building professional career in order to gain growth. Communication skill help to
perform the jobs and handle business responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
I was adopted the development communication theory which providing the facts behind the
communication skill. It always supports for me to perform different role in positively where it
will reduce the political, economic and social.

improve my own concepts. Furthermore, I also compete with own communication skill through
different medium. It involves taking feedback from tutors, self-assessment finding and

source to measure own capabilities and abilities in proper manner (Setyadin and et.al., 2019).

did not say that I have a lack of communication skill but somethings missing in my behaviour

it affected on my daily life where my manager also misinterprets the situation and condition so
I face many problems in organization. On the other hand, I see myself as nervousness those
who are not properly handle the critical situation.
Apart from that I have used the tool kits for exchanging information from one device to
another. It become easier for me to send message in written mode which providing me
accurate results and outcomes. I could understand that it reliable for managing and controlling
overall business situation by using tool kit.

The communication skill can help for me in future to develop career in professional
enhancement which being able to increase own capabilities and abilities (MOHAMMADI and

Time management allows to accomplish the desired goals within the shorter period of time.
This leads to free time that aids to take the advantage of learning more opportunities. It is
one of the effective skill that aids to enhance effectiveness productivity and efficiencies. This
is defined as thinking skill that assist to children to prioritize the task and set the deadline to
each task to accurately judge the time for each task that needed to complete.
I have selected this skill because I feel that sometimes I am not good in managing the time
and to accomplish the task on timely manner. In order to manage the time more effectively, I
need to look over my skill and must take steps to develop it. Once, I had allotted project in
my university and I did not complete it within timely. So, I feel that I need to look over this
skill so that this cannot barricades my future growth.
In order to accomplish the result that based on growth I need to set the priorities as per the
task deadline. For effectively manage the time, the one theory could be use that is as Goal

lacking areas. By identifying the lacking areas I can able to develop my skill and undertake
the performance effectively. I feel that this all thins needs to be done according so that better
results of the task can be produced.
