INTRODUCTION
A reflective journal is a document which state many things such as positive and negative
thing that occurred during an event. it is usually journals entries which are written in it. this
allows in evaluating own performance and finding out learning which is obtained. thus, past
experience is analysed and then plan is made to improve weak areas. this reflection is on
reflective report on presentation made on leadership style (Barham, Mohammad. and Miqdadi,
2019).
TASK 2
In this I was given a task of preparing a report of making presentation on topic of leadership
style of Jeff Bezos. as I was not having experience of doing it so I took help of expert and
internet. It is necessary for me to improve my study skills. this is because it will help me in my
employability skills. Thus, in order to get feedback of my skills I used Gibbs reflective model. it
enabled me to describe in brief about my experience. thus, the model is as follows
Description
here, I was given a task of making presentation on leadership topic. It was my class
assignment. I was highly nervous in beginning as I did not know what to do and how. thus, first
of all I prepared a schedule that how I will be making presentation. then, on basis of it I
proceeded. but I was stuck in a situation where things were to be done in proper way. here, I did
not know that how to make presentation and what to write in leadership style. so, I was highly
nervous at initial level (Holm. and Chao, 2019). then I took help of an expert who guided me to
do task in proper way. also, I searched on internet as well that how presentation has to be made. I
watched videos on You tube as well. this helped me in increasing my use of ICT skills. I was
able to know that what technology is used for what purpose. I noted all those things and then I
prepared my schedule. it enabled me to proceed it in proper way. however, I found that there are
many ways of how things are to done in making presentation.
Feelings
i found that I was highly involved in doing my work properly. by using internet I found
out information on leadership. then, I made sub points on it and wrote it in my presentation. as I
was doing it for first time i was not confident enough. It highly affected on my performance in
negative way. so, I faced a problem in it as I was not able to understand things given by tutor.
due to it I was not able to complete my work on time. it was time consuming for me to finish it

on time. thus, I my expert though that I should have work in team with him so that I am able to
complete task in given time (Hoo,, Tan and Deneen, 2020). now, I think that I could have make
things clear by changing schedule and then making it new. I felt that due to lack of team work
and time management I was not able to concentrate on things to be done properly. due to it, my
motivation was decreased and I did not work in effective way to finish work. therefore, with that
team work would be effective enough to analyse that how things are done in proper way. hence,
if next time any similar situation occurs then I will ensure that there is team work in it. this will
help me to work in team and achieve goals in time. thus, I will learn benefit of working in team
as well.
Evaluation
I analysed that my performance of contribution in task was average. this is because I was
able to gain knowledge about leadership style and prepare presentation. I evaluated that there
were many things which went positive and negative in overall tasks. so, in my view positive
things was that I continuously communicate with expert and also did some research on internet.
this enabled me to gain info on leadership and use of ICT tools. so, I gained knowledge on some
new tools as well. this led to increase in my knowledge on various tools which I can use to learn
and develop skills. apart from it, I learned about ways and form of communication. hence it was
useful for me in my employability skills (Law and Tang, 2020).
But on the other hand, I found that negative was that I was not able to manage my task in
time. due to this I did not finish it on time. along with it, there was delay in making of
presentation. so, I felt that this was very time consuming for me. also, another is that I did not
work in term with expert. thus, it highly affected on my performance. beside that, I did not how
to work in team and what ways are applied in it.
Conclusion
I came to conclusion that I could have changes things so that I might have made things
easy. it might have benefited me in finishing my work in specified time. moreover, my
performance would have been effective enough as well. so, I think that there is need to make
things easy (Sahin, ,Sen and Dincer, 2019).
hence, in future if I face similar situation then I will deal it in different way. this means
that i will take several action and measure in it. apart from it, first of all I will focus on my time
management. this will be useful for me to manage my time in doing activities. Moreover, I will

monitor my overall activities by preparing a report that whether I am able to manage my time in
effective way or not. with that I will apply different technique or way to improve it. in that I will
take feedback from friends etc. (Ni'ma,, Sumardi, and Tarjana, 2020) in addition, I will always
work i team to ensure that goals are attained. this will help me to contribute in my goals as well
as of team. however, I will learn way of working in team as well. in this way I will ensure that
my performance is not affected. if next time any similar situation occurs then I will ensure that
there is team work in it. this will help me to work in team and achieve goals in time. thus, I will
learn benefit of working in team as well.
Therefore, I need to develop and enhance certain skills which will help to deal with
similar situation in different way. so, I need to improve my time management skill. this will
support me in completing my work on time. Besides that, I need to enhance my team working
skills. I will be work with different team and people in effective way. Furthermore, if I work in
team my time management skill will automatically improve (Park, Kim,. and Park, 2019).
Action
at last I think that I need to come up with some action plan which will be helpful for me
in maintaining my skills. hence, I decided to take some action in it. I will develop a PDP to
improve my skills. It will be useful for me to find out weak areas and then enhance it. other than
this, with help of PDP I will be able to maintain progress of my skills. I can change the plan with
change in my needs. so, it will be highly useful for me to work in different way. if there occur
similar situation so as I will be having improved skill I can make do it properly. another action I
will take is setting up of short and long term goals. so, it will give me insight on what goals are
to be attained and how. in this way my employment skill will be enhanced (Ramadhanti, and
Yanda, 2020). besides that, I can ensure that my progress is along with my goals developed
which are accomplished in efficient way.
CONCLUSION
It is summarised that during preparing a presentation on leadership skill I faced my
problems in it such as team work and time management. due to it my performance was highly
affected. I was not able to finish task in deadline. so, I realised that I need to enhance these two
skills which will help me in future in my employment.
