INTRODUCTION
It crucial for a person to determine and evaluate its skills or capabilities in order to identify
performance. It is important that a person is focusing on improvement of personal and
professional skills so that desired work could be performed in right manner (McGarr, 2021).
This will lead to directly enhance potential and capabilities of a person to attain set objectives. In
this report different elements of personal and professional development has been analysed. this
includes details regarding work situation. Career and progression plan has been developed. This
report consist of skills audits as well as self appraisal or action planning.
Details of work situation
I am currently working as deputy head teacher in language school. I have determined that
there are some of my skills that is significant for conducting work practices in effective manner
as well as accomplishing desired goals. In my current working experience, deputy head teacher is
the second most senior position in the school. I have various roles and responsibility that needs
to be managed in correct manner with the motive of enhancing my performance level. I have to
make sure that all activities and practices are performed in significant manner with the motive of
attaining objectives of the language school.

Career plan
Career plan can be describe as the steps which needs to be consider by an individual to
attain desired career growth and development. It is crucial for a person to create a proper and
accurate career plan that is significant for attaining set career objectives. My career plan is to
own and manage language school in next 5 years. I have analysed that my knowledge and
capabilities will assist me to successfully attain desired career objective.
