INTRODUCTION
Reflection is a process which helps an individual or organisation to analyse and evaluate
their previous performance. This is more associated with the development and maximise of
individual performance by identifying the gaps that create problems to accomplish decided goals.
In this report, reflective journals highlights on the work performance related with job role of
assistant manager (Baird, Davidson and Mathiassen, 2017). Evaluation of skills and identify of
areas that are required to improve will also focused in the report. In the last, career and
progression plan and skills audit will also include in this report.
TASK
Reflective Journal
Work based activities perform an important role and according to this it define about all
task related with business. This consider all task are important for perform because it
demonstrate individual capabilities and skills. In the present scenario, local and multi-national
both organisation perform their operations and functions at a same platform. So it define that
assistant manager of a small organisation compete with management of global organisation. It is
important for me to maximise my skills and capabilities to match my work skills with the
international level. Within context of assistant manager job role communication, time-
management and effective speaker are the major skills adopted by an individual to perform their
work in an organised manner (Brockbank, McGill and Beech, 2017).

The term career performs an important role and it helps me to enhance my occupational
status. In easy terms, strategy is formulated by formulation of career development plan for
