Reflective Project on Group Project_2

INTRODUCTION
When group projects are properly structured then it reinforces skills, which are associated for
group along with individual work comprising potential for breaking critical tasks into steps,
planning and managing resources, time, etc (Tan and Goh, 2019). Present report reflects working
of an individual in MN4002QA Group Project in which four people including Ioana Gabriela
Pricop, Gabriele Kaubryte, Florin Silviu Iasilcovschi and Gabriela Silaghi participated to carry
out all tasks. Key actions on which each contributed includes selection of historical person for
presentation, researching on John Dwights relevance towards CVF, scheduling of meetings for
discussion of further actions and so on.
The reflective report includes experience of an individual for group work through various
teamwork along with motivational theories. It also comprises application of CVF in actions and
behaviours of the person.

MN4002QA Group Project was all about researching and preparing presentation about
John Dwights who was an innovative person having certain number of patents to manufacture
pottery. For the group project assignment, I including three members have decided to divide
sections among us so that we research one component each. I including other members have
decided to use What’s app group chat, inform as well as email each other at the time of update or
making changes, extend meetings in necessary situations, to be available each day in afternoon
for the purpose of weekly chat and so on. In this group project, I have suggested to adopt clan
culture that was agreed as well as adopted by other members also. Clan culture is family like
environment which focuses on consensus together with commonality of values (Rico and Et. Al.,
2017). Within the culture, we have created strong bond of trust, loyalty and formed a
commonality. In the whole project, I felt happy and encouraged at each step to complete group
work. However, there was a time when I realised that team of four people is not enough to
handle the assignment, I became frustrated, depressed and pressurised. Other things were good
and went well as all members have contributed great to best quality of work within agreed
deadline.
