INTRODUCTION
Higher education is one type of education that someone have after leaving his school life. It
is also known as third level education. This involves associate, bachelor’s, master’s and
doctoral degree. This is one of essential part for growing personal along with professional
life of individual. There is lots of skills that is required for student of higher education as
this help in raising confidence of student as well as self esteem of life. Higher education help
in upgrading knowledge of people that aid in fulfilling purpose of life. This report aims
towards examine skills that is needed for higher education. This report combines of
development of higher level skills. Apart from this it includes how to improve own learning
and performance. It also included different types of skills such as team working, academic
writing, presentation, communication, IT, problem solving and decision making skills.
TASK
Determine skills that is needed for higher education learner
When learner leaves the schooling life, he gets confuse what to do and what not to do.
Higher education provides them appropriate guidance to students and learners. There are
some Skills set which in needed for high education learner.
Time management skill- It is most effective skills that learner must have. He must
manage his all work very efficiently so that all study will complete on time. As He has to
complete study cycle on time.
Stress management skill- Learner has to go through lots of critical study material, this
will create extreme pressure in minds of learner (Hanewicz, 2017). He has to manage his
stress in order to improve efficiency in their learning structure.
Study skill- Study skill combines of how effective and efficient manner that learner can
learn (Boud and et.al., 2018). It will upgrade study pattern of learner as he is able to study
and become topper of its academic organisation.
Money management skill- Most of the college student have to manage finance due to
lack of funds for their study. He has to develop their money management skill for
completion of its degree. As it cause lots of money while completion of one degree.
