Description
I was assigned a task of representing and delivering presentation on a topic “Can Money
buy Happiness” in which I was assigned a role of Team Leader who is representing the group of
total 15 members . Since, the responsibility of 15 group member was assigned to me, I was little
hesitated initially. As all the team members are not familiar to me so it lets me to take time in
understanding individual behavior and strengths as well as weakness. As It was my first
experience at a position of team leader so I wanted it very positively by building an effective
team. I arranged a proper induction training in order to understand the strengths and weaknesses
of an individual group member (Li and Peng, 2018). I had organized this induction activity so
that all the team members got to know each other and also I had given a brief introduction about
my personal life and experience. The conversation went so long that it made all the team
members so comfortable that they started knowing to each other. Along with this, I started
sharing my Plan about the completion of the project so I shared a plan of my complete module to
all. I communicated all the roles and duties to be performed.
In addition it, described them complete steps to implementation an assignment
thoroughly and I found every one was taking a lot of interest towards plan. Then I divided my
team into 3 sub groups to handle overall presentation about presentation. And they also offered
various thoughts and ideas related to presentation about “Can money buy happiness”. I
communicated the main objectives of the module which they have to achieve throughout whole
process. All the project plan was so clear to before starting the implementation presentation on
Can Money buy happiness and even I have communicated all my plan in as simple way as I
understood it. Every thing was going so quick and smooth as beyond my expectations. After
dividing whole team into the group of 5 members each, I told them to ideally seated and allowed
them to provide the suggestions and ideas regarding the presentation on “Money can buy
happiness” which allows them to increase the interaction and this helps in generating more
efficient ideas to carry out the plan. From next day, all the team members ares gathered together
in order to start the project and they they were so excited o carry out the operation (Gilbert,
2016). After accomplishment of the first objective, I found more enthusiasm and efforts of my
team members. This way I started the implementation of first module with the help of my the
effective team member who coordinated with all the team members and also provided their
effective efforts to make it happen.

Feelings
Initially, all the team members were unknown to me; thus on the very first day, I realized
that all the team members were not interacting with each other. Along with this, two of my
group members were found to be bullying the third one (Ryan and Byrne, 2013). This made me
annoyed and thus I got very negatives vibes from all such practices. Then after I held the
induction program, I found that induction program was so worthy as I got to know various
suggestions and id3eas of carrying out the successful presentation and most of the team
members are mature enough to handle every possible task of the module about “Can money buy
happiness”. So it gives me strong intuition that I can manage my team well and also their
positive attitude towards new learning was also highlighted. This made me realize that my most
of the team members are so dynamic in their working skills.
Evaluation
The overall support and coordination of all my team members as they all contributed in
the successful implementation of the of presenting the effective contradictions about “Can
money buy happiness”. I was seriously impressed to see the technical and working skills of most
of my team members. In spite of this, at the beginning of when I was assigned a role of a
bullying practice made me so unhappy as it was the first impression of team members ( Husebø,
O'Regan and Nestel, 2015). However, after the induction, when all the members started
interaction with each this made me so happy to see the build relationship among my team.
Furthermore, I found one of the three group was little slow in delivering the efficient
services. This made me feel demotivated but at some point of time. I noticed that other two
groups which consists of 5 members among each, were helping inefficient members to meet the
short terms objectives as per the plan of the module. Then I realized, members are little slow in
performing the task are allotted less work as compared to other two. In response to this, I
undertakes some of the designing work in providing the attractive Presentation about “Money
buy happiness” and also motivated them to deliver efficient output. My clear vision and focus
help me to deliver quality based work and these changes helped in achieve the successful
implementation of the project. These changes has lead to the positive sign in the efficiency of
my team member as they do not want me to undertake the operational tasks.

Analysis
I got a wonderful experience of my first module as a Team leader. All my team members
are so efficient and helpful that they all helped me in accomplishing this task. I also realised that
my team members were so efficient in delivering the optimum output which cannot be possible
without my motivational speech and induction program. On the other hand, other teams were
still finding a way to anyhow get the task done even they even cannot be able to bring quality in
their work (Gibb's Reflection Cycle, 2017). I got a great experience as initially I established a
comfortable interaction between all the team members. Even my manager has given a very good
complement he said” very good Team Management and great team efforts”. I got so happy as I
earned a very beautiful and positive experience during my first team task.
I found various differences in managing my team as compared to other teams. Such
differences are communication gap between team members as well as leader, task management
idea, and one thing that effects the unity of the team is tasks were assigned to people were out of
their interests. This was Some of the similarities which I found between different other teams is
that they are also subdivided into various groups to handle the activities. Team members of other
teams are also aimed to achieve the main objectives.
Conclusion
I have learnt a great experience and also I learnt a very good team management skills
throughout the project. I have also concluded that communication plays a very good part in
motivating team members in order to implement the plan of the project successfully. This
experience also helped me to build a time management skills and also I have learn to assign the
presentation regarding the “Money buy happiness” according to the strengths and interests of the
people.
I could have also established a co curricular practices during the working hours. As this will
allow me to understand the individual behavior of my team members (Pianpeng and Koraneekij,
2016). I will be able to create a great bond among team members that will help in establishing
trust and faith among all the team members after such activities.
Action Plan
If a similar situation arose then I would like to handle a dynamic team as well. This will
strengthen my team management skills. Also, I will be able to develop a greater sense of
understanding about different types of people. I would also handle a team of 100 to 200
