AI Summary
This scoping review focuses on the effectiveness of regular exercise in managing type 2 diabetes. Findings suggest that regular exercise is one of the best interventions for controlling blood glucose levels and reducing the risk of other health issues associated with diabetes.

INTRODUCTION
Type 2 diabetes is a way in which body do not produce enough insulin for
controlling blood sugar level (Balducci & et. al., 2019). Type 2 Diabetes is one of
the most prevailing disease from which most of the Australian adults are
suffering. As per government statistics adults above 45 years of age suffer
from type 2 diabetes. In order to control level of blood glucose level
medication are provided to patients suffering from this disease but
medication is not enough for controlling diabetes. Due to this, it becomes
extremely important to focus upon identifying other ways in which this, type 2
diabetes can be controlled and managed
METHOD
Aim of this paper was to review whether regular exercise can directly
help in effective management of type 2 diabetes as compared to other
interventions or not (Hamasaki, 2016). All the five studies directly helped in
understanding that regular exercise is one of the best way of controlling
type 2 diabetes, blood sugar level. Not only this, studies like MacPherson,
M., and et. al., 2020 also helped in understanding that effective exercise
can help in reducing risk of suffering from type 2 diabetes
This analysis clearly helps in understanding that regular exercise is one
of the best interventions that can be focused upon simultaneously with
drug or medical intervention because to can further help in
maintenance of type 2 diabetes (MacPherson and et. al., 2020). It
further helps in understanding that patients suffering from type 2
diabetes should make regular exercise an importance part of their
daily routine that can help them in colling their blood glucose level. Not
only this, risk of suffering from other kinds of health issues associated
with diabetes can also get reduced.
For this project systematic review was conducted in which 5 peer
reviewed articles were selected from Google Scholar, PubMed, and
from Cinahl. In order to search for appropriate peer- reviewed articles
main key words were used and using Boolean operators’ combination
of key words were used for searching appropriate articles. This
strategy directly helped in searching for appropriate articles that were
related to research question and directly helped in answering research
question in an appropriate and effective manner. Search strategy used
for searching appropriate 5 peer reviewed articles for answering main
research questions are as follows:

For this study 5 peer reviewed articles were taken out of which 3 of
them were quantitative and 2 of them were qualitative peer reviewed
articles. All the five articles were selected using PICO search strategy
(Hamasaki, 2016). With the help of these articles both interventions
through which type 2 diabetes can be managed were identified. In this
section critical appraisal of each article would be done using below
provided JBL checklist.
