The Relevance of Learning on my future life
The knowledge and the skills that I have acquired this academic year are quite relevant in
not only my academic life, but in my own personal life. It is thus quite apparent that the
knowledge that I have learnt this academic year will greatly have an impact on my future. This is
attributed to the fact that through this year’s academic learning, I have been in a better position
of identifying my strengths and weaknesses and even also identified future opportunities and
threats. Knowing my weaknesses through various learning modules in this academic year has
placed me in a better position of not only enhancing my strengths, but also be in a better position
of working hard to overcome my weaknesses in future (Pavlina, 2008). The knowledge that I
have gained in this academic year will have a significant impact on my own future because it is
through it that I have got a clear insight on how I will achieve work and academic related goals
in future. It is also through learning this year that I have been able to set up strategies that are
aimed at capitalizing on my weaknesses and also overcome my personal weaknesses so as to
become a successful learner and manager in future.
What I have learnt in this academic year is quite essential in my future because it has
greatly aided me to overcome a longtime fear of technology. The knowledge and skills that I
have gained through learning have now made me to in future become well used or versed to the
use of chat rooms, bulletin boards, and even internet as well as email. This academic year, I have
learnt how to carry out internet research, something that I have never done before in my life. It is
therefore quite evident that being able to do internet research will help me research on more
information on what I should do as a manager to make the organization that I will be heading to
become successful.

How learning has influenced the numerous decisions that I take
My learning process in this academic year has greatly influenced the various decisions
that I now embrace and quite obviously, I will be able to apply them in my course as from
September. Unlike before when I used to go the library so as to search for materials from the
card file, learning how to do research using the internet has now made me love researching
because of the easiness that comes from it. The use of search engines and the use of emails Coca-
(Cola Careers, 2016) have greatly impacted most of my decisions regarding research and thus I
have learnt that in future, I will be in a better position to apply for any job applications that I will
make in future. It is through learning that I have got a better opportunity to effectively interact
with various people regardless of their religious, economic, social, and cultural backgrounds. It is
through learning that I have opted to treat each and every person that I meet in my life with due
respect and be in a better position to embrace the diversity of people.
How learning has enabled me identify being a Manager as the best employment
option for me
Learning this academic year has helped me to have an interest to become a manager of
one of the learning multinational companies in the world such as Coca-Cola. It is through
learning that I have realized that effective leadership is quite crucial for the success of any
organization across the world (Elearn Limited, 2005). In essence, it is through learning that I
have realized that I order to become a good leader or manager, I must be always be willing to
appreciate the diversity of all people working under me and treat each and every person with
respect, equally and fairly. Learning has also enabled me enhance my positive skills and also try
as much as possible to do away with any negative aspects that will hinder me from becoming a
good leader or manager in

The skills that will be required for me to be a better Manager in future
In order to be a good manager in future, I will have to have effective communication
skills in order to be able to deal with the different stakeholders that an organization will be
heading (Vivica, 2016). Another key skill that I will have to embrace so as to become better
positioned in the application of such a job position is taking responsibility to ensure that each
person who is around me success.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operations within their
respective facility(ies). This includes leading and, as needed, directing, controlling and
coordinating all phases of the Warehouse Operations. The position has direct leadership for the
supervisors that lead the frontline for the Warehouse function, including inventory
control/movement, order building & verification and other ancillary responsibilities to maintain a
productive work environment.
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading the following for the warehouse function:
- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Supervise warehouse the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
- Secure company assets.
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
-Preferred majors Business management and Supply Chain
-Lean Six Sigma Certification and training preferred.
- 1-3 years warehouse/inventory experience required.
- Requires experience managing supervisory level employees.
- 2+ years managing warehouse / inventory environment preferred.
- Intermediate PC and database skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification a plus.
