Purpose
Older adult with chronic medical condition finds difficult to get required healthcare
support, while at the same time they are unable to use difficult electronics devices due to their
lower cognitive and sensory-motor resources (Shah et al., 2015). The purpose of this project
is to deliver a easy to use mobile application for non-critical older patients with adequate
support through telemedicine functionality.
Functionality
 View doctor profiles, their photos, publications, and records or credentials
 View the schedule of doctors, book, change, and cancel appointments
 Call in a doctor and get emergency aid
 Get notifications for the latest hospital news and events
Iterative design
A dedicated server is connected with the application for data and information exchange or
bypass. The application runs on server based environment that uses real time data tracking
system from the defecated server to acquire doctor’s details, news update and system update.
Real time data gathering is used to acquire latest news.
A non volatile default database will be used to primary data storing, scheduling, user details,
emergency call numbers and logs of last search queries.
The emergency calling system runs through the system access on calling function of the
device, while fetching the contact number from default database.
For appointment, an auto-generated mail with patient details will be delivered to target server
and afterwards the booking confirmation and scheduling are received from replied mail
