INTRODUCTION
Renewable energy is predominately the clean energy which comes from various natural
resources or the processes which are continuously replenished. In short, renewable energy
basically is the energy which is produced for the sources which does not deplete and cannot be
later on replenished. Renewable energy is generally thought as the most effective means of
harnessing the power of nature for various aspects like transportation, lighting etc. This report
basically provides a reliable comparison of renewable energy between two EU countries which
are UK and France which is highly essential for studying feasibility of two countries in terms of
renewable energy. The major aim of this report is to study the concept of renewable energy and
compare how different countries uses this energy in different ways.
This report gives a brief overview of renewable and comparison of renewable between
UK and France.

promoting use of renewable resources. The Onshore wind scheme is one of the major and most
important scheme which is being established by the federal government in France for ensuring
support to the additional 15 gigawatt for operating the small-scale onshore installations having
less than 5 turbines. The another scheme which is RD&D which is research development and
demonstration provides the financial incentive to households as well as small businesses for
installing small-scale system of renewable energy like water heaters, small hydro-system etc
