DESCRIPTION / OBJECTIVE
The undertaken bathroom renovation project aims to remodel the old bathroom of the landlord to provide an
upgraded bathroom. The objective of the undertaken project is to complete the entire work within 1 month. The
project involves removal of all the old fixtures of the existing bathroom and replacing the same with the new
fixtures. Along with that the bathroom will be re painted to provide new look to the old bathroom.
Scope Statement: The in-scope need of the project is to deliver a new bathroom to the landlord by removing and
renovating all the old fixtures. The project should be completed within 1 month and no delays in the project can be
accepted.
PROJECT STAKEHOLDERS
The table below provides the details of the main stakeholders linked with the bathroom renovation project-
Stakeholder Description
 Project Manager The manager has the accountability of preparing a feasible plan
for successful project delivery
 Client Here the client is the Landlord whose bathroom is being
renovated. The stakeholder is responsible for providing a
detailed project specification on basis of which the project plan
will be prepared
 Consultant The stakeholder of the project is responsible managing the
majority of the construction works
 Resource
Manager
The resource Manager is responsible for allocation of the project
resources as per the needs of the project
 Interior Designer Is responsible for all the interior designing works of the
bathroom.
FUNDING
The sponsor of the project is the client and the funding for this bathroom renovation project will be sought from the
client only. The funding of the project will be dependent on the detailed estimation of the cost of renovating the
bathroom. Therefore, the estimation of the schedule and the resources are done at the start of the project to provide
with a detailed budget to the client.
PROJECT SUCCESS CRITERIA
The success criteria of any project refers to key measurable terms that are linked with the project outcome, which is
acceptable to the client and the other stakeholders (Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, successful closure of any undertaken
project is directly related to the fulfillment of these criteria. The success criteria of the bathroom renovation task are
indicated below-
1. The project is to be competed in a minimum time, preferably within a month
2. All the plumbing and facility equipment replacement is done within budget
