This assignment discusses the sustainability approaches of BAT (British American Tobacco) and Honda. BAT promotes economically sustainable alternatives to tobacco growing, afforestation initiatives to reduce environmental harm, and supports the initiative taken by FCTC group in developing guidelines for finding alternatives in tobacco growing. On the other hand, Honda has dynamically attempted to explain environmental problems and established a low-emission CVCC engine that effectively decreased carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxide discharges. The report also defines three views towards strategic management: stakeholder approach, dynamic capability approach, and sustainable approach.
