INTRODUCTION
Tourist destinations are different places where travellers visit for enjoying exhibited
natural and cultural value (Prince, 2015). Present report is based on the scenario where London
and Paris along with India are selected. This unit is going to represent UK and worldwide
destinations along with their cultural, social and physical features along with the issues which
affect the popularity of these destinations. In context to this, present report explores the
destination’s statistics. Furthermore, report also justifies the figures in order to determine
destination’s trend and define the growth of tourism. In this regard, present report is based on
Paris and India which are one of the best and popular tourist destinations all over the world. In
addition to this, three issues that affect the popularity of designated Paris with another
destination are compared in context to India.

along with number of arrivals of 27.8 (millions of) in the last 10 years.
On the basis of income generation, London stands at 6th position among some top cities.
On the basis of income generated through tourism industry, it stands after USA, France, Spain,
China and Germany. In London, total revenue generated from tourism industry is approx. $30.4
billion. With the United Kingdom's International tourism, number of arrivals in London had a
positive growth of 31.3 (%) in the last 10 years (International tourism, receipts (current US$),
