E) Analysation of theories, principles and models of inclusive design for the resource
development
Theories, principles and Models of the inclusive curriculum design can be useful for the
ESOL teacher to be specialist in the own specific areas. Neuro Linguistic programming is one of
the approach that involve strategies that helps to reach personal goals. This approach can be used
by ESOL teacher for their personal improvement and it will help them develop themselves as a
professional (Yazdanpanah., 2015).
It is mainly used for the improvement in a job professional. Kolb's Experiential learning
can be used by ESOL teacher for their resource development and inclusive design ESOL teacher
will able to provide better learning about the English language, and they can improve their work
ability and learn about new strategies. Here is the model of inclusive learning-
Kolb's Experiential learning
It is the concept that divided into the process into the cycle of the four basic theoretical
concepts that include concentrate experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization
ad active experimentation, This experimental cycle could be used by ESOL teacher for their
improvement.
Concrete experience
Concrete experiences can be new experiences that already happened, each and every
learner of the ESOL teacher will be engaged with a task or any activity related to the English
learning.
Reflection observation
After the learning of the English language, ESOL teacher will give their student's a work
to write reflection on the task they have performed, so they all will write according to their
experience and learning.
Abstract conceptualization
Another step will be for the student's to drew a conclusion of the experience they get
from the reflection and task.
Active experimentation
Collection: A meaningful organization of learning resources such as web sites, documents, apps,

It is the last stage called active experimentation, where ESOL teacher will take their test
on the learning of the English language.
F) Ways in which resources adopted to enable inclusive approaches
In case of teacher they can adopt different techniques like allotting resources at different
level so that teachers can provide the best level of guidance to students. In case of language there
are many barriers which teachers needed to address so that professional level guidance and
knowledge can be allotted to the students who seek to learn different languages. It is crucial to
adopt the language so that proper touch can be achieved over the language. Resources at
different level will allow the teacher to advice students in gaining the bets level of knowledge to
learn new language. SWOG test is another resources that can be adopted by the ESOL teacher to
allocate the knowledge related to the language to all different students. All these resources are
the bets support.
` There are various sources and educational tools that can be used by the ESOL teachers to
provide better learning and knowledge. For examples- Audio and video visuals- Audio and video
can be useful sources for the ESOL teacher and this is inclusive approach where teachers
develop learning about the language through the video visual and audio. It makes their work easy
and student's can understand what teach want them to understand.
Smart devices and software
There are various smart devices like mobile phones and software and available in the
market that can be used by the ESOL teachers to learn their student's, it can make easy for the
ESOL teachers to work from their home and teach their student's without meeting. It help to save
both time and money.
I favour of the students in gaining the best level of knowledge as a student. Furthermore,
other than these resources inter organisation loans can also support the students in gaining the
best quality of knowledge related to the foreign language. Financial resources are among the key
resources that are associated with the students that they needed in gaining the best level of
knowledge of foreign language (Yuan, Shen and Ewing., 2017).
The Model of Curriculum design
The way we understand and theorize about curriculum nowadays has altered significantly
over the years. Today, simplest definition of the word “curriculum” is the subjects comprising a

The Model of Curriculum design
The way we understand and theorize about curriculum nowadays has altered significantly
over the years. Today, simplest definition of the word “curriculum” is the subjects comprising a
course of study at schools, universities or colleges The Current Curriculum Model can be
divided into the two categories. The process model and product model.
Product model
The product model is based on a result oriented and focused on the grands and its their
main objective, with the lying more on the finished products rather than the learning process. For
examples- As a ESOL teacher if I use the product model of Curriculum Design then I will try to
provide better grates to the Student's rather than the learning and developing of knowledge.
The process model
The process model is more open-ended and its focus on how the learning to develop over
a period. For examples- By using the process model ESOL teacher will be more focused to
develop learning in their students, so they can develop a understanding of the language in over a
period of time.
G) Review ways in which classified and stores and ways sharing resources
3.1 Classification
It is necessary or the ESOL teachers to provide a clear and classification of the revival
so students can use the resources properly and even teachers should also clarify and identify the
resources, so they can provide the best possible resources to their students.
Systematic filing and management of the resources- It is necessary for the ESOL
teachers to have systematic system and they should properly manage their resources for their
better use. The data they have related to their students and their performance related should be
properly checked and it should be properly filed with the systems and the procedures.
Storage
there are many devices available within the market that can be used by the ESOL
teachers for their resources storage. For examples- USB which is used for the storing
information, it is small device and easy to carry and it can also come with the TB capacity in
terms of storing the data.
3.2 Sharing resources
Internet sources like social media can be useful for platform for the ESOL teachers to
share any kind of information to the people. Almost every people are connected with the social
media where they can share their thoughts and their day to day activities (Yuan, Shen and
Ewing., 2017). ESOL teachers can also share the personal and professional information so
divided into the two categories.
3.2 Sharing resources

people can know that they provide English language teaching to the students so the people what
are interested in will contact them thorough the DM's. For examples- Linkdin, where ESOL
teachers can upload their profile and give their informations and specialization to the world. This
sites will automatically suggest their profile to the people who are looking for the ESOL
teachers, so they can learn new languages.
Internet application- there are various sharing application available on the internet to
share information to each other. For examples- What's App application is one them and it can
be used by ESOL teachers to share information to the students like Notes, test etc.
(H) Legal requirements and responsibilities relating to the development and use of resources.
Plagiarism – When developing and using the resources of teaching and learning by ESOL
teacher, many people can use the immoral and unlawful practices for developing and using the
resources. Therefore, plagiarism laws imposed by UK government ensures that the content of the
original author is being protected and safe. The government also imposes fines and punishment
on people who do not abide by the laws.
Data protection- While developing and using the resources of teaching and learning the teacher
must follow data protection laws. As there are many internal data which is known to the teacher
when they are using and developing the resources (Carey, 2018). Therefore to restrict the wrong
use of internal data UK government has imposed data protection act and ensures that the
information should be used in fair and
Risk assessment – When developing and using resources by ESOL teacher risk relating to the
resources must be assessed. The teacher must make a list of the students that have a risk of using
the resources, the next thing he or she should do is to determine the students that will be harmed
and then checking for some protective measures. As in today's scenario there is risk of Covid-19
therefore proper sanitization should be done.
Health and safety requirements – It is the responsibility of the ESOL teacher to ensure health
and Safety of students when developing and using the resources (Hale. and Booth,2019). If
handling the resources are risky and can affect the safety of students then proper training must be
provided.
Photocopying restrictions – The ESOL teacher when developing and using the resources must

ask the students to enter their won username and password.
Analysis of implications of intellectual property rights and copyright for the development and
use of resources.
Intellectual property rights are the rights which are given to the person for the creation of
something new for protecting their ideas and efforts. There are various types of intellectual
property rights such as patents, copyright, trademark etc. intellectual property rights provides
inventor exclusive rights to extract certain benefits from their invention. It is important for the
ESOL teacher to adhere to all the legal laws relating to development and use of resources. They
should also guide the students that they should not surpass any law relating to the intellectual
property rights and copyright.
Patents – Patent is the right granted by the law to the person who invents a new way of doing
things or a new solution for existing problem. When using the resources the teacher should
ensure that the software and programs are not being misrepresented and used for the personal
purpose (Nard, 2019). The teacher should create awareness among students in relation to the
patents of resources which they are using.
Copyright – Copyright is the exclusive right which is given to the creator of the ideas especially
in the field of literary and artistic work. ESOL teacher should keep this law in mind and should
not copy the material to educate the students on their own name. To avoid this the teacher can
put certain restrictions on the site, or they can also put a subscription option to access the site opr
resource (LaFrance, 2017).
While using and developing the resources the following things must be considered which
are contracts, permission for the use, ownership etc and the teacher must teach their students to
be unique and do not copy.
(I)Evaluation of effectiveness of own design and use of resources to engage and meet the
individual needs of learners in own specialist area.
The effectiveness of own design and the use of resources to engage and meet the individual
needs of learners in own specialist area can be evaluated by:
SWEET analysis – For evaluating the effectiveness of own design SWEET analysis is
undertaken and the teacher identifies his or her strengths, passions and the environment where
ask the students to enter their won username and password.

SWEET analysis – For evaluating the effectiveness of own design SWEET analysis is
undertaken and the teacher identifies his or her strengths, passions and the environment where
they are developing their own designs. By identifying the strengths, passion and environment the
teacher can evaluate the effectiveness of their design and use of resources.
Recognizing the limitations – By recognizing the limitation of the designs and working on the
loopholes the effectivenesses of designs can be evaluated and adequate use of resources can be
done.
Use of new and emerging technologies – By using the new and emerging technologies for their
designs the effectiveness of the design can be evaluated. This helps to engage and meet the
individual needs of learner in own specialist area.
Cost effectiveness – Another component of evaluating the effectiveness of resources and their
use is to identify their cost-effectiveness. If the resources and design are effective when the cost
involved is less and the output is more.
Actively engaging learners – For evaluating the effectiveness of resources the teacher should
actively engage learners as their interest can help in identifying the effectiveness.
Areas of strength in developing and using resources and areas need to improve on learning.
The strength of development and use of resources are as follows:
Confidence in using range and variety of resources – When the resources are being developed
in the field of own specialized area then there comes a confidence in using the range and variety
of resources. Resources are of different varieties and also they have different uses therefore when
the resources are being developing in the own specialist area then the teacher gets confidence in
using range and variety of those resources and can also effectively teach the students too.
Awareness of impact – Developing resources in own specialist area is the strength as the
teacher is aware about the impact the resource will have on the students and what difference that
resource will make in the learning of the students.
Embedding opportunities for use of ICT – Developing and using of resources in own
specialist area gives an opportunity to the students to use ICT which helps them to enhance their
learning pattern. It also makes the learning more interesting and students regain attention through
variety of features and modes that are present ion ICT.

I first strength of mine is that I have the practical skills which are needed to adapt to the
new designs or different variety of designs. I have excellent English pronunciation and grammar
knowledge. Also, I can develop my own teaching material.
Another strength which I have is that I can use resources to address a range of learner's
need as I have good vocabulary and clear concepts and I can understand which techniques best
suits different learners.
Weakness
My first weakness as an ESOL teacher is I have to develop blended learning which helps
in flexible and distance learning. I have to learn about different online educational materials so
that I can deliver it more effectively.
Another weakness of mine is that I cannot use ICT properly. There are many functions
and tools which need to be learned and to identify their use. I have to explore more pedagogy
related to ICT.
Areas of Improvement
Skill Audit – By developing and using the resources of own specialist area the teacher can
identify the areas of improvement through conducting skill audit. The teacher can find out the
skill which are present in the student and what they have to inculcate more. Through this the
teacher can identify the training to be provided to the students and can fill up the gaps. It helps in
getting the feedback and also helps in self-assessment.
Subject updating – When the teacher develops resources in own specialist area then they can
update the subject as per requirement and need. They can identify the area of improvement and
update the subjects if the situation so demands.
Exploring and developing new technologies – When developing and using resources in own
specialist area the teacher can explore and develop new technologies for teaching and learning.
(J)Plan opportunities to improve own skills in development and use of resources in own
specialist area
The ways to plan opportunities to improve own skills are:
Action planning as result of observation and evaluation of practices – To improve the skills
action planning should be done after proper observation and evaluation. It is the blueprint of
new designs or different variety of designs. I have excellent English pronunciation and grammar
knowledge. Also, I can develop my own teaching material.

The ways to plan opportunities to improve own skills are:
Action planning as result of observation and evaluation of practices – To improve the skills
action planning should be done after proper observation and evaluation. It is the blueprint of
converting the strategy into the actions (Martiny-Huenger. and et.al., 2017). It is done by first
analysing the current situation, then identifying where the teacher wants to head and the ways he
or she can get there. Next step they have to take is to check the progress and knowing where they
have reached (Patané. and et.al., 2019).
Review resources' availability – The teacher should review resources availability in the sense
that what resources are available to the teacher must be identified and the ways these resources
must be used and developed to improve own skills.
Observation of more experienced colleagues in same area – The teacher can improve their
own skills by observing the colleagues which have more experience in the same field and area.
As by observing the colleagues which is more experienced the teacher will get to know the area
in which he or she is lacking.
Working alongside a specialist – The teacher will get to know new things and ways which can
improve his or her skills as the specialist already an expert of the area.
Internet research – By indulging in internet research the teacher can improve their own skills as
internet has a vast options and platforms to learn from.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that there are various purpose of teaching resources and learning
skills. Evaluation of effectiveness of specific resources from own specialist area in meeting
individual learning needs such as addressing and developing required skills, actively involving
learners etc. The principles of resources design consist of meeting learning needs, fit-for-
purpose, sufficient quality and quantity. Also, sources that inform resource development in own
