2.1 Overview of distinct information systems
The integrated set of entities for collection, storage as well as processing of data for
rendering knowledge, information and digital products is referred to as information system. This
involves carrying out as well as managing operations, communicating with suppliers and
customers for competing within the marketplace (Arif and et. al, 2020). There are different types
of information systems that can be utilised by Ford Company as per their requirements that will
lead them to attain goals within short frame of time. The different types of information system
are specified beneath:
Operational management level: This kind of level is associated with carrying out each
day transactions within the organisation. For an instance, level of management comprises of
