management and development of an organization. The current research report is conducted in
similar context of North Staffordshire trust which provides medical assistance to the service
users. It aims to introduce new policies and laws in the health care premises which complies by
the legal and legislation laws of the country. Main purpose of the current study is to enlighten the
readers with varied laws and regulations that are necessary to be adopted by the firm (Carayon,
2016). The research present several policies, systems and procedures that the North Staffordshire
trust is trying to implement in order to prevent accidents and injuries. It also illustrates
responsibilities of the varied care and general practitioners, nurses, doctors and director of the
hospital. It also covers varied aspects of risk assessment and impact of manual handling on the
service users as well as providers of services. In the end, an analysis is being made on the health
and safety policies adopted at South Birmingham Primary Care Trust.
