1. Introduction
The Clever Web Company is located in Melbourne and Sydney. The company operating
with its own web server and mail server but staffs are not satisfied with the existing network
technology. Because less amount of storage availability in local server. So the company planned
to provide the cloud solutions. The local server should be developed for increasing the volume of
storage on the emails. The report will suggest a new technology for implementing in terms of
many features like reliability, security and better service.
The main objective of this project is to provide the better cloud solution for mail server and
office applications. The company introduce a Wi-Fi solutions to avoid storage problem in the
mail server. Solutions for wireless access point and implementation will be discussed.
2. Present IT infrastructure
The IT Company named as cleverweb.AU. It is a medium size company. Now in this
company forty employees are working in Melbourne and the thirty employees are working in
Sidney. In the existing network technology, the company has not gowned fast and the staffs are
not happy while working in this company. The staffs are use a main popular application package
with a spreadsheet and word processor. But the company was operated based on its own web
server and the mail server.so the staffs are feeling uncomfortable to create the documents and
also they are feeling unhappy for the server is very slow. Now the company is implemented by
using 100Mbits/s switching Ethernet. But it will create the more problems for working people.
So the staffs uses the own internet by using their smartphones (McNamara, 2014). Because the
Wi-Fi network in presently not available in this company. The two location of company working
people are connected via the leased line. Leased line means packet switching network. And the
network can be operated with a router for each location. The (Melbourne and Sydney) location
having its own subnet. The files can be shared between these two locations. So the management
feeling unhappy to buying high cost leased line for providing internet to the company. The
present situation of this company need a potential Wi-Fi solutions, to upgrade the LAN network
and to get the good solution for the connections between these two locations.

3. Disadvantages of present IT infrastructure
The main disadvantage of present IT infrastructure is using old LAN/WAN technologies.
The slow speed internet is used in current IT infrastructure. The applications are very slow and
there is no security. The virus problems and hacking problems are more in present IT
technologies. The old email (Gmail, yahoo, exchange) and old office like (MS office 2003,ms
office 2007,ms office2010, MS office2013, and MS office2016) are used. High cost is needed for
to install these applications in all systems.so more expense is needed for to get the license. Own
web server and own mail server (less RAM, less hand disk, less space) is used in present IT
infrastructure. High cost is needed for to get the web server application license and mail server
license. The mail box size is used as very small in present IT infrastructure. The slow internet
has provided in this company .Hence this level of internet is not comfortable for all 70
employees. No WI-Fi and no laptop is provided for this current IT Company. The file server is
very slow in the current IT company.so the file server traffic overlaps the LAN/WAN traffic.
The more amount of storage is required for to save the files in file server.
4. Solutions for office
Office 365
Office 365 is one of the famous Microsoft cloud version. User can able to connect over
the internet, make an account, payment and also install the correct files. Office 365 files are more
compatible with the office 2010 and 2013. User can able to use office web apps by using this

Reason for moving from business to office 365
1. Yammer - Microsoft Company bought Enterprise social network. It provide facilitate
interactions, and minimize the size of the email chain.
2. Feel free about servers & maintenance -This is available on the cloud, so it has more
flexibility with integration.
3. Unified UI - User access the information easily from anywhere.
Work online using office web application - office 365 mainly focus on the workflows with
more collaborative. It suit for accessible online so colleagues can quickly make changes and
make an improvement on documents in the real time without any test ("8 Reasons Cloud Email

5. Required IT Infrastructure Improvements
Some of the required IT infrastructure are used to improve the company level. Based on
the cloud computing solutions the file server, web server, Email and wired technology are used.
The achievement of the project is using cloud based solutions that is increase performance of the
technologies. The main requirements of the company is file server , web server, Email, server
storage, Old LAN(local Area Network) and WAN(Wide Area Network wired LAN technologies
(Boroughs & Saunders, 2007). but these technologies are not currently updated so that the
company imported new technology is 'Cloud Computing'. Hence, the file server is used as a
cloud file server, Web server is used as a cloud web server, and E-mail is used as a cloud email
server. The service storage of the company is shows in the cloud computing. In order to old LAN
and WAN are used to network connections. Instead of using old LAN / WAN protocol the
company using new local area and wide area networks. Only wired LAN is used in the company
but wired and wireless technology is need to better performance (Boyles, 2010). Based on the
cloud solutions wired and wireless technologies are required to improve the Wi-Fi network
connections.

5.1 Advantages and Disadvantages of Wired and wireless Networks
Wired Network-- Wired Networks are the common type of LAN technology and it is a
group of more computers and other devices which are connected to cables.
Advantages of Wired network
The Wired LAN provides better performance in office
The speed of the wired network is much higher than wireless network.
Wired networks provide higher security than wireless networks.
Wired networks provide higher security than wireless networks.
In this network the Ethernet cables, hubs switches are used. the cost of this cable is
low
Quality of service is good.
Disadvantages of the wired network
Wired network execute in difficult framework and the cables are required to execute
from PC to PC and switch to switch.
It is not suitable for Common use.
Wireless Networks - Wireless network appropriate high frequency radio waves than wired
network to communicate between nodes. In this case Users can access network from anywhere
within the range. Wireless network is another choice for Business networking with public.
Advantages of Wireless network
In this network cables and switches are not used to transfer the files.
Users can access the network anywhere within range.
The mobility of the wireless network is Outstanding so it makes easy to communicate
with other users.
The Speed of the wireless network is high (up to 100mbps).
Connection Set up time is more.
Disadvantages of the Wireless Network
The wireless network has limited range.
Security of the Wireless network is less.

SaaS - Software as a Service
SaaS is one of the most way to delivering the applications through the internet ("Top
Cloud Computing Email as a Services", 2017). Instead of downloading and maintaining the
software, user can simply access it through the internet. It is used for freeing the user from the
complexity of software and hardware management. So the people needed to maintain and
manage it all (Kulkarni, 2012). Basically an internet connection require all the infrastructure.
SaaS provides in a different way. Now the companies can plug as well as subscribe to the service
which is built on the shared infrastructure through the internet.
SaaS a model offers many benefits to the business ("The Benefits of SaaS - Learn why
software as a service is the future - Salesforce Australia", 2017).
i. High adaptability – SaaS available from any device at anytime, anywhere.
ii. Lower entry costs – This application based on subscription. There is no license
amount, so it means it has low initial cost.
iii. Seamless Integration and Scalability – SaaS providers can offers customization
abilities in order to meet their requirements. Vendors create the API’s, so it used to
integrate with the Business Productivity Systems.
iv. Painless Upgrades and Security –Vendors are the responsible to manage the
software and upgrading process. There is no more patches for the customer to install

access the information over the internet.
In the business environment, there is many recognized cloud dependent email services available
in the current market. That is,

on to this app from desktop itself.

AWS (Amazon Web services) is a profitable electronic mail service constructed on the
accessible and reliable infrastructure that the amazon website (Amazon.com) created to provide a
service to customer. With an amazon simple email service, the customer will send the
transformational electronic mail, messages for marketing, and any type of great quality content
to the customer. The Amazon simple email service (SES) handles the mail receiving operation is
involve in interaction with any other mail servers, viruses, scanning for spam, to avoid the mail
receiving from the unknown sources, and accepting the mail from the only the authorized
receivers in domain. Simple email service can passes the mail to an endpoint where the requests
could access the mails for archiving, decrypting, generating support permits, showing to the end
users, or number of possible ways to use the mail applications.
Google
The Google corporate apps provides customer with great storage space than you could
got most solutions, named as email server of on premise. The Google provide association with
larger reliability and the security. The email server requires wide and expensive training for the
customer to obtain the effective email service
7. Advanced Networking solutions
The advanced networking is made up of the following solutions. The solutions include
WAN& Internet optimization, Internet, network & application visibility, link & load balancing,
software defined networking(SDN)&packet optimal solutions, NFV orchestration, datacenter
solutions, network infrastructure & cabling, network management. The WAN & internet
optimization is used to increase the data transfer efficiency. Reduplication, compression, latency
optimization are the techniques used in WAN & internet optimization. The internet network and
application visibility tool allows network manager to peer into applications. Link and load
balancing provides the multiple WAN connections, enterprise applications and bandwidth

management. Software Defined Networking (SDN) & Packet-Optical Solutions includes the
techniques like metro networks, cellular access networks, and wired access/aggregation. NFV
orchestration is maximize the application realization over the WAN by commonly integrating
capacity. The NFV approaches are Flexible software platform, multivendor, integrated life cycle
operations. Datacenter solutions includes bigdata & analytics,cloud solutions, converged
infrastructure, data center applications, data protection, desktop virtualisation.Network
Infrastructure & Cabling solutions is the backbone of a robust and adaptable structure cabling
system. And it include the voice, data fiber cabling networking solutions (Messier, 2014). The
Network management is included with IT infrastructure consulting, IT Faculty Management
Services (FMS) and Remote infrastructure Monitoring.
8. Conclusion
The new wireless technology has been developed to achieve the company requirements. The
old 100 Mbits/s Ethernet has been replaced by the new wireless technology. The report suggests
a new technology to implement is Wi-Fi which offers better office package solutions for working
people in both locations in terms of reliability, scalability, security, more efficient and effective
processes, improved productivity and better service. The technology is chosen because it has
cost/benefit analysis. It also has ease of support and moreover it meets business needs and so on.
The local server has been developed to increase the amount of storage on the emails. The
main objective of the project is provided with appropriate solutions. The company introduces a
Wi-Fi solutions for avoiding storage problems in the mail server. Solutions for wireless access
point and implementation are made.
