Report on Electromagnetic Breaking System_1

INTRODUCTION
Electromagnetic breaking system is designed to either slow down or
stop the motion through the application of electromagnetic force in the
presence of mechanical resistance.
Electromagnetic breaking system operates under the principles of
electromagnetic force which involves the physical interaction that
occurs between components or particles that are charged electrically.
The major advantage of the implementation of plug-in hybrid electric
vehicle using electromagnetic break is that its frictionless and hence
reduces wear and also stepping of the break permits the operator to
command the stopping force which initiates the motion of he car.

The major components of the
electromagnetic breaks include the
armature, hub, and the field.
The electromagnetic breaks operates
by using a very short time to stop a
moving vehicle despite the current
motion of the vehicle.
