Executive Summary

The funding of the Western Sydney Airport is around $20 billion. The expenses include research

A$806 million in Western Sydney agriculture production. The project will ensure 3.5 billion
Asian markets in the year 2030. For the redevelopment of the health care sector and expansion,
the expenses can be A$1.026 and A$1.282 (Kasarda 2015). Annual freight expenses are A$66
billion. The objective is to resolve transportation and housing while providing these
opportunities that will help to address the spending on Western Sydney Airport. On upgrading
roads, the expenses will include A$1 billion. The government of South Wales and Australia will
provide funding of A$3.6 billion for development of roads for future logistics infrastructure and
hubs. Over the next four years, the capital investment will be A$80.1 billion. As such the
uninterrupted growth of 26 yeas planning and implementation is analyzed.
Recommendation
The plan proposed for the Western Sydney Airport will help in creating new jobs and housing
facilities for people in Australia and focus on three long term opportunities.
It will aim for a greener and prosperous development of the country while aligning new
technologies and connecting people as a part of the Future Transport Strategy (NSW government
2018).
The state infrastructure strategy is recommended to focus on the development and early planning
strategies for smart cities.
Public transport should be integrated by the North-South Rail Link to for better connectivity with
the key centres of the country.
