Meaning of idea of professional as well as personal development
Personal development refers to a process for development of skills and capabilities
of a person which helps them in enhancing quality of their life (Hackwell, 2019).
Professional development refers to a process which development of knowledge and
learning of individual through training certification and education. Both of these
development helps to enhance quality of life of an individual and also allow them to
develop various skills that provide them opportunities.

Short term goal refers to goals which are easily attained by a person within less time
(Andreassen and Syvertsen, 2016). Some of personal example of short term goals
are as follows:
 Learning computer course.
 Improving typing skills
 Developing communication and social skills.

Medium term goals refer to goals that are essential for long term goals of a person
(Jones and Dallal, 2016). Some of personal example of medium term goals are as

 Development od required skills for professional development.
