INTRODUCTION Personal development plan is a action plan based on person own reflection, experiences and goal setting. Evaluation is done for the analysing person own gaols and how he can able to achieveit(Duckworthandet.al.,2019).Thisreportincludespersonaldevelopmentand evaluation of sources. MAIN BODY TASK 1 Concept of personal development Personal development is the procedure of analysing their skills, capabilities and qualities, by considering their aims and setting of gaols and objectives in order to maximize their potential and productivity. On the other hand, professional development concern with training, education and certification that a person needs to succeed in his life. Professional skills depends on different job. Value of short term goals Short term are like stepping stones that push a person towards his long term goals. They develop in the path of long term goals. Short term goals keep the person focus on his life gaols. These goals are easy to achieve and also they helps in minimizing procrastination. They helps in focusing on one thing an this focus will helps the person in getting motivated towards his objective. It increases productivity and person can achieve long term goals quickly (Felten and et.al., 2019). They can be completed within 6 months. Example of short term goals are: ï‚·Waking up at 6:00 a.m. And write at-least 1500 words. ï‚·Getting familiar with new technologies. ï‚·Improve my communication and networking skills more. Value of medium term goal After completion of short term gaols, mid term goals come on the way. Mid term goals are those which are actually more than short term goals and less than long term goals. They are mostly completed within three to four years. Mid term goals actually offers best of the world. As they have enough time to complete. There are some of the examples of mid term goals are: \
ï‚·Go on a dream trip. ï‚·Start my new business. ï‚·Buy a new house Value of long term goal Long term goals are very important for the everyone's career. They helps the person in thinking about what studies and what job he needs to choose in near future. An individual can achieve his long term goals first by achieving his short term goals. They are made for self improvement. Long term goals helps the person in shaping their direction of his live and career. They allow you to constantly keep working towards the goal and how hard work is more needed by the person in achieving his objectives (Freeman Jr, Chambers and Newton, 2016.). There are certain example of long term goals. These are: ï‚·Improve my emotional intelligence and stress management. ï‚·Getting my dream job. ï‚·Goal to become a effective public speaker. Value of personal development plan Personal development plan is the process of creating an action plan which consist of person's own self- reflection and improvement. This is based on education, values, awareness and goals setting. This plan helps a person to look on his strength and weakness. Personal development plan is important because it helps an individual to plan a career change and build his current skills and capabilities. This also helps in becoming dedicated and enthusiastic and ability to learn more. This is also important because even if a person failed to achieve his goals and objectives then it will show employers that how dedicated a person is towards his goals. This plan is usually made for getting detail of his long term and short term goals. This also shows that what resources are needed by him to achieve his goals and what can he will do after getting those skills and capabilities (Marcus, 2016).
