INTRODUCTION Personal development is explained as the activities which assist in improving the identity, develop human talents and increase quality of the lif(Ahmed and Ward, 2016). To better understand and optimise their ability, this is a means for people to analyse their strengths and qualities, recognise their life goals or set goals. The current report is based on Personal Development Plan (PDP) and also main role of the personal development planning. There will be discussed abouthow ‘Author, Purpose, Reliability and Relevance’ impacts utilisation of the sources as well as evaluation of the eight sources used in report plan. TASK 1 Concept of personal and professional development. Personal and professional developmentcan be seen as a process where a person establishes goals at personal and professional levels to successfully resolve vulnerabilities. It continuous method allows people or corporations to accomplish the objectives and goals they seek. Professionaldevelopmentisaboutlearningthe expertise,information,records, and resources necessary to assist an individual get good in career.On the other hand,professional development is preparing to obtain or hold professional skills like academic degrees for the formal coursework, seminar attendance, and realistic informal learning experiences (Ahmed, 2018). There are a number of career development methods, like counselling, coaching, practise groups, lesson learning, mentoring, results in the increase and technical support.It is collection of tools, services and preparation programs for teachers to increase the consistency and efficacy of teaching. This tools help instructors to develop their skills in their field of study and provide mentoring and the ability to learn new teaching methods. Many that engage in seminars or management sessions learn and refine specialist skills, like technological, quantitative and analytical (Avidov-Ungar, 2016). Value of short term goals identifying at least 3 personal examples. The short term goals reduce procrastination. They mainly lay down clear as well as defined path to be success, permitting an individual to focus on one thing at time.In relation to short-term prioritiesof the personal and professional development plan, it will assist an individual in meeting aims that are to accomplish a long-term aim (Dunn and Doolittle, 2020). There are three personal examples given below related to short term goals: 1

Medium-term goals in the professional and personal life of an individual hold various value systems. Mainly the medium term goals may take from the two months to the three years to be achieved (Pugh and Broome, 2020). To enhance the problem solving skill by 15% with the help of taking job the job training and studying provided through organisation within 45 days. To raise networking skills by 15% in 2 months through exploring joining networking activities and concentrating on developing a real human relationship with individuals who can interact. Minimize turnover throughout 15% in each of next four quarters. Value of long term goals identifying at least 3 personal examples. The long term goals are that want to attain in future. These goals need time and the planning also (Ramia and et. al., 2016).They are mainly developed including futuristic approach as well as range of the personal long goals for staff members. The three different examples of long term goals are mentioned below: To get be promoted in next 1 year within the organisation. To be practice the mindfulness by 30% in 1 year to increase management skills. To develop the problem solving skills in 6 months.
