1.0 Introduction
The report throws light in analyzing as well as identifying the aspects of three different
companies which have been chosen for understanding the scope and the products which are
being provided by them to the customers. Bupa Ltd is one of the British healthcare provisioning
homes and insurance groups which provides different health insurance, care homes as well as
health assessments. NHS is the other publicly limited healthcare system and it is the largest
healthcare system and is considered to be the largest single-payer health care system in the
world. Lastly, Marie Curie is registered charitable organization that helps in providing health
care services with terminal illness. All the three companies which have been selected in the
assignment are health care service providers which enhance the effectiveness of the services
which are delivered by them.
2.0 NHS
Background details of the organization
The National Health Service is one of the publicly funded healthcare systems in England
and it is considered to be one of the largest single-payer healthcare systems in the entire world.
The company was incorporated in the year 1948 and there are more than 1.4 million of
employees working in the company (Nhs.uk 2020). The company is primarily funded by the
government from the general taxation along with care which are present in the economy of
London. The NHS provides majority of the healthcare in England and it impacts the
effectiveness of the services which are delivered by them to the different patients.

which are mainly provided by the private sector successfully.
The size and scope of the organization
On the other hand, NHS is the other company wherein the organization provides the
different patients with services such as the services which are publicly funded and they have
their presence throughout London, England. The company spends more than £134 billion till the
year 2019 and it has the capability to expand their operations in different parts as well which will
be capable of improving the services.
Their vision, mission and business objectives
Vision- To maximize the health as well as well-being of the different individuals for
preventing illness and keeping the people well
Mission- To strive the performance of the health as well as well-being of the different
individuals through proper professionalism as well as excellence
Objectives-
To provide respect and dignity to the different individuals along with employees working
in the company
To improve the lives of the different individuals which will be effective for improving the
growth prospects
To provide commitment for providing quality life to patients
