INTRODUCTION
Talent Management is a process of enhancing the performance of business by attracting,
motivating, developing skills and retaining employees (Anlesinya and Amponsah-Tawiah,
2020). It helps an organisation to stay competitive by developing the skills of talented employees
so that they can give their productive outcomes. This report is divided into two parts, the part 1
contains report which includes current talent management strategy of Company, these strategies
are Business strategy, HR Strategy, recruitment, selection methods, performance management,
reward management, training and development and equality and Diversity Policy. The Part 1
also consist Gender Pay Gap and environmental factors which are impacting the HRM Practices.
The Chosen Organisation is Aviva, it is an insurance company which is located in London,
England.
PART 1
TASK 1
Aviva is a insurance Company which focus on different countries and the company is
seventh largest insurer provider in World. Aviva use talent management strategy to increase the
performance of employees and company (Bhattacharyya, 2020). The Current Talent
Management Strategy of Aviva are-
Business Strategy-
The business strategy of Aviva is that they want to become a leading financial service
company by focusing on long term savings for constant growth. Aviva is focusing on Market like
Canada, UK, Ireland in which they can achieve leading position.
HR Strategy-
The HR Strategy of Aviva is to provide better services to their clients and create an
excellent opportunities for their employees to increase performance and growth.
Recruitment and its channels-
Recruitment is a process of identifying the applicant for vacant job position. Through
recruitment company can attract the person to fill the job position. Aviva also use recruitment
tool to identify the right talent for contributing in the success of Organisation. The recruitment
procedure starts when there is a need of candidate and ends by selecting the employee. Aviva
