Occupational safety and health is a discipline that deals to prevent the work associated with
the disease and injuries, and the protection as well as the promotion of healthy employees.
The aim of occupational safety and health is the enhancement of working condition as well as
the environment. Occupational health considers the promotion as well as maintenance of a
higher extent of physical as well as mental health with social well-being of employees in all
occupation. Along with this, occupational health and safetyhave currently become much
higher precedence in terms of growing evidence of loss as well as suffering caused due to
occupational disease with ill-health across different employment areas. There is a concern to
the managerat least partly due to gaining a number of deaths as well as accidents occurring at
the workplace (Baxter, et. al., 2015).
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a multifaceted field where, an individual can
interact with larger business spectrum as well as, it is related to their interests and concerns.
OHS is confined to outside of HRM in which, its role, impact as well as, importance is
unnoticed. The key issue of the company in current times is how to enlist the mind and hearts
of all their workforces. Along with this, occupational exposures involve physiological,
ergonomic as well as psychosocial factors are considered in current working atmospheres.
These factors individually and several complex integrations can threaten the safety and health
to employees and decline the productivity as well as well-being (Hammer, et. al., 2016).
The above aspects are related to evidence that an output of an individual moderately relies on
the state of health and gratitude of concept regarding OHS. It is becoming essential for
success of the company.
