RESEARCH DESIGN & STATISTICAL PORTFOLIO 3
Clinical Psychology
A report is presented which analyzes the provided SPSS data to determine the results of
two groups namely, good sleep quality and poor sleep quality groups. The analysis such as three-
way Factorial ANOVA and hierarchical linear regression will be performed to achieve the desired
results.
Section A: Factorial ANOVA and Interactions
Part 1
In this part, use the provided SPSS data to utilize the sentence reading times based on short times
and long times. And, conduct three-way factorial ANNOVA and provide the results. To do three-
way factorial ANNOVA in SPSS follow the below mentioned steps.
Firstly, open the provided data on SPSS as demonstrated in the following figure.

Part 2
This part reports the results from three-way factorial ANNOVA. The results provide three main
effects and four interactions which are presented in the below table ("Conduct and Interpret a
Factorial ANOVA - Statistics Solutions", 2020).
