It has merged with a call centre firm so there are some responsibilities to consider WHS policies and procedures for successful organisation. TASK b) Write a policy that clearly outline the organisation's commitment to WHS WHS ( Workplace health and safety) is also known as Occupational Health and Safety ( OH&S) which is very important in every business organisation. It generally concern with health and safety of the employees at the workplace so that they can perform their task or work in an appropriate manner (Rocha, 2011). In this included several people who are directly or indirectly related with an organisation. This may includes major health and safety of customers, employees, volunteers, investors, labour, contractors and visitors etc. The management formulated some policies of the organisation such as; ï‚·Firm provide sufficient tools or techniques, equipments and material so that working environment can be made safe. ï‚·They communicate with every individuals regarding all safety and security aspects that helps in eliminating of work related injuries as well as illness. ï‚·Company provide effective structure and safe working climate for reducing risks or hazards in an effective manner. 1

In this included several safety majors such as clothing, equipments and substances designed that must be wear by an individual for the purpose of proper protections from hazards or risks of illness and injuries etc. therefore, manager consider some safety equipments such as gloves, eye protector, goggles, aprons and boots and safety helmets while working in the firm. c) Structure of WHS management system most appropriate for an organisation There are number of alternatives or elements available which support in creating or maintaining the work place so that healthy environment can be created. For the Aviva insurance company, they have to focus on making better working place so that organisation can be succeed (Davis, 2013). It must be required to create safe work place and the key element is to develop as well as implement the safety management system in more appropriate manner.
