INTRODUCTION
The health and safety management systems is consider various combinations of proper
management such as organisational arrangements, planning and reviews, consultative
arrangements as well as elements of programs which are combining for the purpose of improving
health and safety of the performance (Granerud, 2011). In this some important or specific
program aspects defined in which included hazards identification, contractor health and safety,
training, risk assessment and control, informations and record keeping etc. Workplace healths
and safety (WHS) is generally referred to various safety majors which are related with
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). In this involved number of activities such as assessment
of risk or mitigations which has major impact on health or safety as well as welfare of employees
with in the workplace. This report is based on Aviva plc that is British multinational insurance
company. It has merged with a call centre firm so there are some responsibilities to consider
WHS policies and procedures for successful organisation.

WHS ( Workplace health and safety) is also known as Occupational Health and Safety
( OH&S) which is very important in every business organisation. It generally concern with
health and safety of the employees at the workplace so that they can perform their task or work
in an appropriate manner (Rocha, 2011). In this included several people who are directly or
indirectly related with an organisation. This may includes major health and safety of customers,
employees, volunteers, investors, labour, contractors and visitors etc.
The management formulated some policies of the organisation such as;
 Firm provide sufficient tools or techniques, equipments and material so that working
environment can be made safe.
 They communicate with every individuals regarding all safety and security aspects that
helps in eliminating of work related injuries as well as illness.
 Company provide effective structure and safe working climate for reducing risks or
hazards in an effective manner.
