Introduction
Modern organizations often strive for greater diversity among their workers, hiring
employees of varied races, gender, creeds, and ages to bring more diverse experience to their
ranks. Diversity, in most cases, carries with it a substantial number of advantages, but it also
comprises fresh challenges and obstacles to overcome (Deb and Carlos Tasso 2016). The
organization that can effectively manage the diverse place of work has the firm merit over
organizations that do not embrace diversity so fast. In other instances, a diverse place of work in
different organizations might facilitate employment in far-flung sections of the globe. However,
with workplace diversity come the new modes of expression, as most workers from varied
customs and backgrounds communicate in different manners (Gottardello 2019). This research
paper has the significant aim of examining the research methodology and various aspects that
will help in achieving the objective of observing different impacts of workplace diversity in
organizations.
Literature Review
In most cases, it had been recorded by different researchers that workplace diversity
comprises of the similarities together with differences of workers. The performance of
organizations remains to e the extent to which objectives of the organizations and their goals are
being attained (Deb and Carlos Tasso 2016). Most business organizations tend to fail in
operations due to cases of a galvanizing diverse workforce to work as re team has been
ineffective in training, terms of the policy, exposure and approach to particular and overall
objectives. As companies are turning their operations to be more diverse, diversity helps the
management to improve their services. Hence, diversity in the workplace refers to the differences
concerning sex, age, race, culture, and religion among other factors that affect the operations of

organizations (Dhiman, Modi, and Kumar 2019). Individuals that possess several demographic
differences operating within the organization make a diverse workforce.
Diversity in the workplace can affect the operations of the organization in different ways.
It can have positive as well as negative effects on the activities of the organization. Some of the
adverse impact of workplace diversity in the operations of an organization can comprise of
miscommunication, development of operational barriers, together with dysfunctional adaptation
traits (Olalere 2018). However, some of the positive effects of workplace diversity on operations
of an organization consist of creating a sound understanding base within house talent that can
give room for the creation of smoother integration of organization into different foreign customs.
Enhanced affinity of organizational workers to indulge in interpersonal disagreements is one of
the negative impacts that workplace diversity has on the operations of the organization.
Individual workers with different diverse customs have dissimilar thoughts, opinions, beliefs,
customs, norms, trends, values, alongside traditions. Besides, when culturally diverse employees
are put in the group to attain the target with shared effort as well as collaboration, the differences
in culture of the workplaces such as the difference in opinions and other variables tend to hinder
the advancement of unity in the organization. Gottardello (2019) stated that the effects of
diversity in the workplace could either improve or reduce the outcome of each organization.
One of the positive impacts of the workplace on operations of the organization is that
workers tend to belong to different customs always have diverse ways of thinking and it can be
used to examine any operational matter at and from the variety of perspectives. Such a situation
is hard to attain when workers belong to the same customs are asked to examine a similar issue.
For instance, workers originating from different cultures have different experiences due to
diversity and this can be beneficial by offering the organization with the sound and vast base of
knowledge. Jackson (2018) studied different impacts of diversity and its scopes in operations of
