CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND
Training is considered as a systematic process which is initiated through various
organization which helps to facilitate the permanent alterations in skills, knowledge or impact
attitude of its members. It helps employee for attaining job satisfaction along with job security as
it also helps in undertaking promotion. In the similar aspect, career development is referred as
life long process for learning, managing, leisure and transitions in order for moving towards
personally identified and for evolution of future. Within organisation, it retains employee and
helps for preventing turnover and productivity and financial returns might increase by giving
appropriate training and investing in them (Walseth, Engebretsen and Elvebakk, 2018).
Managing career is directly opposed for merely staffing jobs along with increment about
necessity of business unit. In the present scenario, there are multiple organization which has
formed career systems in form of practices and policies for ensuring that staff attains
requirements of human resource. Career development is framed for enabling every employee in
organization with opportunities for advance, develop and grow. Organization could become very
complex and effective with sophisticated and highly trained workforce.
Purpose
The main objective of this study is for establishing impact of training on career
development of employee with significance of training and development, training and education
along with role of training.
Rationale
In the present scenario, employees are not highly skilled and developed with
requirements of organization due to various problems such as education, diversity and so on. The
survey presents training and development of staff as major issue for organization. Training is
replicated as element for increasing morale as it sounds people for their promotions in the future.
The objective is to develop and train every employee with huge possibilities and running risk of
losing them with other companies. In this era, there is high growth in spreading awareness of

training and development as it is also supported by reports where employees have too much
spending with context of these activities.
Organizational change and technological developments have gradually made realised to
employees that success is associated with abilities and skills of employee. Thus, continuous
investment with reference to training and development is highly considerable. Henceforth, it
helps in enhancing organizational efficiency.
Significance of study
This study will help various organizations as it gives huge insight about advantage that
will be accrued and embraces training as useful tool with context of developing careers of its
workforce. In the similar aspect, it will help organizations for framing training strategies and
adoption of appropriate philosophy which embraces training for employee development as
outcome of altered behavioural attitude which will contribute for overall raise in productivity. It
will help organization for better understanding of needs of employee training and accrued
benefits through training on initiatives of career development and help for justifying various
budgetary allocations for training programmes.

The research design is referred as overall strategy which is used for integrating multiple
components of study in very logical aspect. It helps in ensuring that research problem is
addressed in effective manner or not as it constitutes blue print for purpose of measurement, data
