Literature review play very essential role in order to complete the research work
in an impressive and proper way. It is said that Literature review is a section which
provide guidance to the researcher on a specific topic so that valuable outcome will be
produced. It generally act as an effective section which includes overview of the whole
topic or issue of an investigation as well as act as a background of the overall research
work. This is the part of investigation which is systematic, wider as well as in-depth
review of the whole research (Alqahtani, 2019). It has been said that for gathering
information and data from ample number of sources, researcher adopt secondary
method which consist of books, journals, newspaper, articles and so on. Generally, it
deals with examining as well as evaluating various types of articles so that favourable
outcome will be developed. It has also been identified that investigator needs to
consider the point of view, opinions and suggestions of various authorised authors so
that they will be able to get authentic and accurate data. With the help of literature
review section, individual will be able to examine different resources so that they can
examine and conclude the information in an effective manner. Literature review is a
section which is usually adopted by the researcher in order to enhance their knowledge
and information on a particular topic which will assist in conducting the whole research
in an effective manner. It is generally a type of descriptive report where views and
opinions of different authors are discussed on some specific topics so that in-depth
knowledge will be gained by the researcher for conducting the whole research in an

new tools which assist teachers to make effective understand about particular topic to
their students. Here different type of innovative techniques are utilised within
classrooms in the present world. These are online teaching, social networking sites,
blogs as well as Wikipedia, mobile devices, interactional whiteboards & podcasting. The

usage of new technologies have made it easier for distance learning. It will assist in
faster response & better cooperative attempt among large group of individuals. New
techniques like websites as well as podcasting allows pupil in order to learn &
participate in various discussions and debates whenever the classes are missed. Class
blogs & Wikipedia help in widening avenues for discussion and also students are given
chance for participating outside the classroom. Interactional whiteboards help in making
teaching quite easier and help in giving students effective visual aids & teacher easier
time in order to execute lessons. Distance learning and online teaching is considered as
one of the fastest growing industry. Individuals want to give out information to various
areas and this type of technologies help to distribute knowledge from one classroom to
different students (Zhang, 2019). The usage of computers within classroom have
outspread & get along widespread. Computers are pervading each and every aspect of
educational institution. Teacher are using computers for keeping track of students,
checking on their work and making grades of students in transparent manner.
Nowadays, teachers adopted innovative technologies in education plan in order to make
learning easier for students. The different types of technologies adopted in education
system is Class craft, spark video, google classroom, YouTube, Virtual reality, Canva,
seesaw and many more. Nowadays, Teachers give assignments to students on online
classrooms and they have to submit it on the same. This classroom also involves
quizzes, surveys, student's grade and so on. Teachers suggested links or videos to
students so that students can gain high knowledge or better understanding about a
topic as it is been research out that students can learn better through pictures or images
rather than by a simple paper. Seesaw system which is a new technology helps
teachers, administrators and parents to communicate anywhere. With this, parents get
to know how their children is performing in schools and what assignments is given to
them. After this, the completed assignment is uploaded by students which is
automatically opened by parents by the help of Seesaw application.
Virtual reality, a new development assist students to learn concepts of history or
science or any other subject matter (Zou, 2019). Moreover, an innovative technology is
developed that helps students to develop infographics at their own that leads to
presentation of their discover or information in a better way. It contain templates which

helps in presenting data statistically instead from presenting it with the help of scratch.
In addition to this, Canva which is a digital creative classroom provided tools for
students and teachers in order to use augment learning process effectively. It contains
more than a million templates, images and icons which can add to the presentation on a
single click. Adoption of this tools is easy for students as they it is cost effective as well
as time consuming process. Modern technologies also includes games, visual learners
and many more that attract students to grasp things rapidly as well as effectively. These
technologies assist teachers to present chapters to students in classroom in various
learning styles which motivate and reinforce students to understand and learn particular
topic effectively (Tennant, 2019). Furthermore, Classcraft an application which engage
students by using gaming principles that develops harmonized learning atmosphere and
raise social and academic skills of a student.
2. Need for improving teaching technologies for enhancing its outcome
As per the point of view of Casey Brown (2019), technology assist in
improving education for parents, students & teachers. In order to enhance the
skill of students and improve their learning, there is a need to improve teaching
technologies. Improvement in this technologies results out positive outcome
which is beneficial for both teachers and students. New technologies gives
students different ways to learn due to which they gain high learning experience.
Technology encourage students and engage them towards learning through
videos, games, pictures, websites and so on. Nowadays, students like to prefer
learning through electronic mean rather than by black board so it is important for
teachers to bring changes and improve technologies. This will help them to
attract large number of students and raise their grasping level of learning by
using pictures and videos. Technology enhances communication level of
teachers that leads to professional development which will help them in future to
gain higher opportunities. It is very important for acknowledging that pupil are
interested as well as engaged while learning through new technologies. When
techniques are incorporate into teaching, pupil are anticipated to more involved
within the subjects in which they are perusing (Apostol, 2019). Technology helps
in providing different possibility in order to make teaching and learning more fun

& enjoyable. Pupil who are involved, engaged as well as interested in the things
which they are perusing are anticipated for having a improved holding.
Adoption of new technologies by teachers assist them to raise critical thinking of
students which in turns develops positive outcome. A real time analysis can also be
done by the assistance of digital technology which is easy for teachers to analyse
performance of students and give them grades accordingly. Development in teaching
technologies not only enhance skills of students but also raises teachers abilities due to
which they gain higher opportunities in future career (Lu, 2019). It saves the time of
teachers as now many online classrooms allows students to submit their assignment
which is automatically get checked by software. Along with this, improvement in
technologies saves money. For instance, teachers nowadays upload assignment for
students on online classrooms and saves the amount of paper and pen. The other
example is sending of Emails rather then giving paper notice to students. Moreover, E-
books gives more options to teachers and students and does not need any storage or
maintenance cost. Therefore, it is essential for teachers to improve teaching
technologies as it is one of the powerful asset for modern classes and for future.
3. Pros and cons of using modern technologies used by teacher on the future growth of
students.
According to Natalie Regoli (2019), using of new technologies develops higher
opportunities and enhances growth of students. It has been said that there are ample
number of advantages and disadvantages which might affect the overall result of the
techniques used by teachers on the future development and growth of students.
Although, adoption of new technologies have positive and negative aspects which is
mentioned below:
Advantages:
 Technology motivate students at the time of their learning process as it allows
understanding of a lesson with fun. They play educational games that increases
thinking ability of a student due to which they gain growth rapidly. Along with this,
technology develops confidence level among students as they give presentation
in front of others without hesitation.

 Adoption of technology in classroom develops a good communication system
among teachers and parents. The activity that children perform in classroom is
easily seen by parents due to which parents trust is build towards the teachers
and impacts positively on their mindset (Alqahtani, 2019). Chatbox, real time
analysis, instant messaging allows teachers to sent students report to parents
rapidly.
 Technology helps students as well as teachers to aware about the new concepts
which will help them in there future. It saves time of teachers of developing and
checking assignments. Teachers can evaluate performance of students easily
and then give them reviews accordingly which help students to make
improvements and gain success in future.
Disadvantages:
 Technology declines the critical thinking ability of students. Innovative
technologies distract students as nowadays they prefer to use more entertaining
apps such as Facebook, Instagram rather then focusing on their studies.
 Interactive digital lessons may replace teachers from classrooms in future. By the
assistance of modern technologies, it is easy for students to learn lesson and
gain understanding about a topic. It also develop medical problems for students
such as eye pain, neck pain, blurred vision and so on (Zhang, 2019).
 Another disadvantage of adopting modern technologies is that it might reduce the
interaction among teachers and students which affect the overall result in a
negative manner.
Chapter 3 Literature Review Conclusion
With the help of above stated section, it has been concluded that in every
research literature review play very essential role in order to conclude the whole
investigation on a secondary basis. There are ample number of secondary sources with
the help of which investigator will be able to gather information so that they can
effectively conclude the whole research project. It has also been analysed that there are
ample number of modern technologies used by teachers which might change the overall
way of teaching in an effective manner. Along with this, there are few advantages as
well as disadvantages which might affect the overall performance of these methods in

both positive along with negative manner. It has been examined that there are ample
number of new and modern technologies adopted by teachers which will help them in
order to enhance their critical thinking ability so that positive and favourable results will
be produced. Furthermore, it has also been said that due to excessive use of
technology personal interaction between individuals and teachers might get affected
which affects their relationship in a negative manner. Therefore, it has been said that by
using literature review, researcher will be able to enhance their knowledge and gain in-
depth information about a specific topic.
