the figures directly from the market by means of survey or interviews of the concerned
people (Walliman, 2017).
Types:
Observation:
Works well for a research related to the Business-to-Customer market.
The absence of interaction is a concern.
Focus Groups:
Promising way to get cumulative feedback on a product.
Limited number of opinions.
Interview:
Well designed for confidential feedbacks.
Depth analysis of the issues are confusing in terms of decision making.
Survey:
Opinion of mass is guaranteed.
Significantly time consuming and costly.
Secondary research is a research method which incorporates data which are already existing
and prepared by someone else. It significantly depends on the primary research.
Data from Internet:
The data is easily accessible and of negligible cost
The authenticity of the data is a major concern (Hair Jr et al., 2015).
