Introduction
ERP is defined as enterprise resource planning which is the joined management of the
organizational processes. Enterprise source planning systems have been utilized in assimilating
data and hurrying its circulation across purposes and sections with the purpose to enhance the
overall performance of the companies [1]. Such kind of process allows the business communities
to utilize a system of unified requests in order to control and evaluate the business and monitor
back-office functions through information technology. The major purpose of this paper is to
enhance the skills in the context of ERP and evaluate an article based on enterprise resource
planning. This research paper mainly focuses on the significance of ERP systems in the
enhancement of measurement performance. There are several sections will be involved in this
paper including the content of the paper, issues highlighted, research methodologies, outcomes
of the article and many more.
Content of the article
The title of the chosen article is “A study of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
performance measurement using the quantitative balanced scorecard approach” that was
provided by Yung and other researchers in the year 2015 [1]. The major significance of this
article is to examine the importance of ERP scheme in the enhancement of business
performance. According to the authors, the high technology sector has played a significant
character in the economic development of Taiwan in the last few years. The term ERP is a kind
of tool which is utilized to standardize and evaluate the business process for accelerating access
to various sources across the business commutes so that ERP may help the companies for
improving their effectiveness [2].
The researchers reported that ERP is an advanced business system that has the potential to
integrate the flow of material and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the business communities.
The fruitful placement and utilization of the ERP schemes are very crucial to the organizational
survival and effectiveness. It is observed that ERP is very important to network in this advanced
generation due to their larger ability to assimilate the flow of substantial, information and finance
in order to provision structural strategies. The researchers identified that many ERP systems
