Reasons for choosing the project (e.g. links to other subjects you are studying, personal interest,
future plans, knowledge/skills you want to improve, why you feel the topic is important)
There are different reasons for choosing this project, one of them being that this project will help
me in developing new skills such as time management, organizing as well as learn how to gather
data (Bani-Melhem, 2020). This is because data collection is an important part of a research and
hence, by undertaking this research, I will be able to develop my knowledge about the same.
currently, I have very limited knowledge about the whole data collection process as well as the
different methods that can be used for the same. Apart from this, I also have an interest in
research and want to build a career in the same. So, I think that undertaking this research will be
beneficial and help me in enhancing my overall knowledge. This project is based on Talent
Management, which is an important aspect for any organization. And hence, this will help me in
enhancing my overall knowledge about the same. I want to improve my knowledge and this is
also because the skills that I have developed, I will be able to implement the same into practice.
Also, I believe that this topic is also important and not a lot of studies have been conducted on
this topic. One of the other reasons for choosing this project is that I will be able to learn new
skills as well as implement the same in an effective manner (Barreiro and Treglown, 2020). One
of the other reasons for choosing this project is that I want to learn about the role of line
managers and leaders in employee development as well as the different challenges that are
faced by them during the employee development process.
Since there are different sections in a research project such as literature review, methodology as
well as data analysis and hence, this project will help me in learning about all of these and thus
implement the skills as well as knowledge whenever I undertake a research.

only reliable sources of information are used for the completion of this report. In order to make

are based on the research topic (Hoang, Wilson-Evered and Lockstone-Binney, 2021). The
respective project is based on analysing the role of line managers as well as leaders in the
