Most of the business firm started to embrace corporate diversity in the early 2000s due to many trends in demographic as well as changing workforce. In simple term it can be said that, cultural diversity mainly used for explaining several cultures which co-existing with larger culture. This research is based on Mark and Spenser which is British multinational retailer which was founded in 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer. They are serving at worldwide level and headquarter at London, United Kingdom. It is important to have cultural diversity within organisation which result in wide impact on employees performance as well as also in accomplishment of organisational goals and objectives in effective manner. There are certain strategies used by company for managing diversity in the working environment such as development of diversity training, implementation of communication strategies etc. All these are important and helps company in attainment of competitive advantages. This information was related with the secondary data gathered from different number of secondary sources i.e. magazines, books etc. To analyse impact of diversity on employee behaviour at workplace Diversity at workplace has both positive and negative impact on employee's behaviour. TASK 4 P6 Reflection on the effectiveness of reserach methods By doing this investigation, I used questionnaire as an effective method of primary data collection. Questionnaire helped me by providing reliable and valid information regarding the impact of diversity on employee's behaviour. I used mixed method such as qualitative and quantitative. Both methods helped me in completion of each activity of investigation in systematic manner. Both methods are useful because these supported me in achievement of research aim and objectives within less period of time. I also used deductive approach for analysing information about the topic that turn to support me in attainment of research objectives.Along with this, I faced certain challenges while using questionnaire such as respondents are not in favour about the available options, time issue etc. These are biggest challenges that have impact on my performance while completion of this research. Despite of this, I used Gantt chart for reducing the time issue and also follow each principles of research ethics. By conducting this research several issues has been faced by me in which major an lack of resource, inappropriate funds as well as time. For conducting research there is requirement of several resources which are not available and all these created issues for me in gaining effective outcomes. Along with this, cultural diversity is wide topic which requires proper time as well as funds. Without all these I faced several issues in gaining appropriate outcomes.In addition to this, there are several other challenges also faced by me while conducting research as gathering information will be difficult because several respondents refuse to share information as they have fear of losing their personal data and information. P7 Alternative reserach methodology Interview is a type of alternative methodology that will be used by researcher if they get another chance of doing this research on different topic. In this methodology, researcher will require to make some open-ended questions and ask to the selected respondents. This method will support investigator in gathering of qualitative data. Therefore, questionnaire is an essential part of alternative research methodology that will help researcher in doing of further investigation. Apart from this, for conducting this research questionnaire as data collection method has been used by researcher. Main reason behind using this method is that Questionnaire is not expensive as well as time consuming method. But alternative method which researcher can use for gathering data is interview as it will also help them in gathering information in more effective manner.
