Section Two: Reasons for choosing this research project
Reasons for choosing the project (e.g links to other subjects you are studying, personal

Rationale:
The reason behind I choose this project is that in the rapidly developing era of
globalization it is very important for all the organization to manage good amount of the human
resources in the organization. To help for all the employees feel equal. Racism is one of the
factor which used to play a very crucial role in the same. Tesco Express Wembley is also
finding it difficult to maintain the good amount of human resource in the organization. This
study will help them in overcoming the same issue. Another reason for me conducting this
research was to gain the different knowledge about the cultural diversity in the organization.
This research project will help to find the ways how to prevent racism. Racism is known as one
or another culture raising and thinking that own race is superior than other.
Reason behind choosing the topic is that this topic is a trending topic in the organization in
current scenario, This study will look to find the solution of same issue.

Literature Review:
As per the view point of Rice, (2015) cultural diversity means a situation in which the
companies used to hire all sort of the employee in the organization, with different backgrounds,
culture and religion. This is generally done by the organization to dispel negative stereotypes
and personal biases about the different group in the organization and promote the trust and the
respect among the different group in the organization.
Racism used to bring the variety of the conflicts in the organization. Ang and Van
Dyne, (2015) highlights that the biggest issues which is brought by the racism is the
discrimination in the organization. As the employee used to belong to the different background
and culture, as all the culture used to drive on the basis of different belief and path. This helps

on the basis of the culture are already being made in the organization it is very difficult to melt

has a opinion that another challenges is misinterpreted of the professional communication by
the different cultural employee in the organization.
McCluney and et.al (2018) highlights that performing activity in team will help company in
overcoming racism challenge as employee will gel up with other employee very well. This will
reduce the impact of racism in an organization. Also, author highlights that with the help of
training organization also can prevent racism. In which all the employee should be motivated
and trained to work with different employee in an organization.

qualitative research type as it will be difficult to present the data in numeric form.
Research Approach: Research approach is the set of the assumption regarding the
method of data collection, analysis and interpretation. Inductive and deductive approach
are the two type of research approach which can be used by the scholar. Deductive
approach will be taken by the researcher as it used to provide good support to
qualitative research type (Caillaud, Rose and Goepp, 2016).
Research Philosophy: There are two common type of research philosophy which is
used by all the scholar that is interpretivism and positivism. Scholar will be using
interpretivism as a philosophy as it is the best philosophy for qualitative research type.
Data collection: Data collection is the process of collecting the data to conduct the
study on the basis of same. Scholar will be collecting the secondary data by taking help
of different journals and book related to the topic. Primary data will be collected with
the help of the survey.
